Always love your ideas …that cage thingy,you put on the flower frog..it’s a rain gutter/down spout guard to keep large debris (leaves,nuts,sticks) from plugging up the pipe/drain

They all turned out great, but my favorite is the one frog with the star.

The top for the flower frog is actually a gutter guard, they're still sold at Home Depot. I really like how you combine items to create a one of a kind!

Hello Yvonne, You are sooo creative. Thanks for sharing your ideas. The funny little wire piece you thought was a flower frog or part of a beater is actually something that is placed in the downspout of a gutter. The longer wires go down into the top of the downspout and the roundish part sits up top. It is supposed to keep leaf and stick debris from clogging the downspout. Something someone invented long before gutter leaf guards.

Oh yes! You’ve inspired me to get busy n try to make some of those rusty crusty adorable items you made. Years ago I would pick up old lights you would use on your porch or pole in the front yard n pretty much do them over like you did. Now that’s kinda funny. What comes around goes around 😅. Since I no longer have them I e got to start all over again but it’s the hunt that makes it fun.

So you have me thinking now - I have some extra wire hanging flower baskets. If you remove the hanger portion, it would make a nice wire clouche. It might work with a large pizza board I have hanging out. Add some faux greenery and a battery op candle. I may play today!

I love the porch light candle holder. Would love to find one. I like the wood top of the aged stool under it and I would screw the holder into an aged round slightly bigger than the base. I think the added weight would help make it more stable.
The piece you weren't sure of is used in gutters at the downspout to catch leaves, etc.
