    Hi Bhavna,
    I love Kachori! I am a gujarati girl born in India, but raised in America. My beloved sister, Bhavana passed away last year at a young age...shortly thereafter I found you on you tube. Like you, she was a fantastic cook so I feel as though she is speaking to me through you. I know the basics, but would love to cook like you! You make things look so easy...such an inspiration! Thank you so much. By the way..you look beautiful today and I love the nail polish! =)

    Yum,that looks nice..I have never heard of kachori's in my life..Interesting..Well my parents are from hyderabad,India..I have been born and raised up in USA..So I really didn't know about this..And my mouth is watering right now..I want to try this recipe...Can I find pigeon peas in wal-mart? Or in any grocery store?

    Hi Bhavna, I made this kachori as per your recipe and it was just perfect and delicious!!. The outer covering was so crispy like biscuit. And you have inspired me to try some more variations in stuffing with chinese combinations. I am thinking of baking the kachori instead of deep frying, Let me know your thoughts or tips.

      Baking sounds great but I personally haven't tried. I did make Bhakarwadis in oven successfully. Watch my video and you may get the idea.

    This is my favorite Dish; i can eat 20 at a time; i like to have taste which can confuse some one;

    Hi Bhavna! How many kachori does this recipe make? Trying to make for a crowd.

      Tejal Vashi 1 cup flour makes about 20-25 depending on the size and for the filling I count as 11/2 tbsp filling per kachori and you can always maximize as per your need.

    Do all kachori recipe have coconut and raisin in tuvar? I had some for the first time recently and i did not taste any raisin or coconut

    Hi i liked your kachori a lot. Thank you . A small advice from an experienced (personal) old lady . Please dont wear duppattas( polyester) ones and cook. They are the most dangerous and highly inflammable. They look very prettyand gorgeous as acooking show hostess but not good in the kitchen. Allthe best.

      Yes, You have to roll thin because it shrinks due to the nature of AP flour.
