First of all, What is Motion?
Motion:
Motion occurs when an object changes its position with time.
The movement of an object from one position to another position with respect to the observer is called motion. Newton’s laws of motion are three physical laws that, collectively, laid the foundation for classical mechanics in physics.
Uniforms Motion
When a body covers equal distance in equal interval of time, it is moving with uniform motion.
Non-uniforms Motion
When a body covers the unequal distance in equal interval of time. it is moving with non-uniform motion.
Both Distance and Time are important in describing motion.
Sometimes you know motion has occurred even if you didn’t see it happen.
Relative motion
When two objects are moving in a plane (either in the same direction or opposite) each has a relative motion with respect to the second. e.g. a person sitting in a train and watching a tree, in this case, the tree is stable but is assumed to be moving but with respect to train.
What is Motion in a Straight Line?
If an object changes its position with respect to its surroundings with time, then it is called in motion. It is a change in the position of an object over time. Motion in a straight line is nothing but Linear motion.
As the name suggests, it’s in a particular straight line, thus it can be said that it uses only one dimension.

Motion is a relative term
For example you are in home you are thinking that u r not moving but according to the space the astronaut see that u r moving with respect to him but with respect to u . You are not moving bcoz astronaut and your reference point is not same so if the reference point is not same and also frame of reference is not same so thats why we say motion is a relative term
According to relative term
u are in rest with respect to u but the earth is rotates on its axis but u are thinking that u r not moving bcoz rest and motion is respective thing
It is depend on absorber

There is nothing such as absolute rest or abosulte motion . It is only depend on absorber
