    In short if we come back to the starting point then it would be 0.

    1st=sir actually that happens that if we make a non uniform motion graph the line is not straight the is curve cuz the motion is not uniform or not in the equal interval of time
    2nd=yes sir the displacement is 0 is a righ answer cuz let think we have a path from point A B and C a straight line a car is goin through from point A to POINT B then POINT B TO POINT C then car comes to point A that means the displacement is 0 as u said the shortest distance

    Example - if we move directly from point A to B which is 2m (for example)and then again move back to point A directly.The initial and the final position of the object is same that's why displacement of a object can be zero.

    Ex- if we will draw a line of 6cm we will name it a and b then we will change the direction and move towards a 6cm so our initial position will be zero so distance is 12cm and displacement will zero.

    Explanation is that you think your father will go on their job there office distance is 10 km and in a end he comes to home That's the initial is your home and the final position is also your home and short distance between initial position and final position in displacement but your both position are same hence proved displacement is zero
