I’ve been using this foundation for over 10 years now. Absolute best. Btw, same shade. Lol. It doesn’t break me out. I have very acne prone skin and I’m oily but dry at the same time...just what you said. And this foundation really works for me. ❤️
I'm still using this foundation and I've noticed it TRULY does not make me breakout. I'm always recommending it!
katelilit hyeee , was it good for coverage the acne ,dark spot???
nadiazpjm it’s not full coverage, but buildable and it’s very skin like, which is nice. Doesn’t look cakey. It works for my type of acne, but I would say if you have severe acne and dark spots, might not be the best option. If you want to try it, without purchasing, you can go to Macy’s or any other department store that sells Clinique, and they can shade match you and apply it on your face, to see how you like it. 😊
Do you use a primer with this foundation?
Maria Melnic personally I don’t use a primer. I just use a lotion before applying the foundation and then I set it with a powder. Works beautifully for me without the primer (but my acne and dark spots are moderate, not severe). Either way, a good foundation to try for a more natural look.
I’ve been using this since I was 6 (I’m a competitive dancer) and I LIVE for this foundation
And you've put it to the full test then if you're a dancer! It's so so good
So pretty on you!! I like Clinique makeup. It's great for ppl with allergies.
Applying makeup the most hygenic and budget-friendly way is with your fingertips but if you prefer a brush or Sponge, beautyblender,, You can dab dots of the foundation on your face then go to work connecting the foundation dots with the brush or sponge.
Stephanie Marie has a channel and does lot of reviews & out of the clear blue she bought some of that Clinique acne Foundation that only comes in 4 colors which you referenced, and she is wild about it .
She thinks it makes your skin look lovely and she's 45 now and she no longer has any acne but she still thinks it really makes one skin look good.
If I can get it to the stores I'm going to try a sample of that, because I'm OK with a Tinted Moisturizer or BB cream as well but I think the foundation you have there right now has the prettiest finish of all of Clinique foundations.
You look great in it👍🏼😎yesI know this video is an older one, but I had to watch Clinique centered videos, because I need to buy some of that foundation.
So, I have to find somebody wearing it to find out which colors ppl (who are fair to medium) are wearing , to order. I need to find out what's the name of the shade you have there..
Loved the video, thank you.
I absolutely love this foundation. I have a very oily t-zone and this makeup looks flawless on my skin. Amazing how great it is. Just a small tip from one makeup lover to another... mercier is French and is pronounced "mercy-A". Love your videos. I hope I didnt come off as a butt up there...I mean no harm and no hate. 😊 love your video
Whitney Huskins haha no I appreciate it 😊 I never knew that brand was French but totally makes sense. But yeah I've had such good luck with like any Clinique foundation I try I just love it! Thanks for watching hun ❤️😊
This is the first one I've tried from them and only because I got a sample with my 3 step skin care system. Which I also looovvvveeee. Lol. But I believe I'm gonna love the bottle I have coming monday. So far I love it based on that sample though.
I just came across this foundation so I started looking for reviews on it and yours was the forst I came across. I LOVED everything about your makeup. Beautiful. I am definitely going to be pushing your page on my Facebook.
You are so so sweet thank you so much ♥️
This foundation is my favorite! I apply it with my fingers, it has amazing coverage and I don’t feel like I’m wearing anything
Sara Jay isn't it wonderful?? I haven't worn it in a while but I need to bust it back out. I just love how safe it is for acne prone skin 🖤
You are sooooo pretty! Review was great!
Oh my goodness 🙈 thank you so much dear 🖤
Wow it covered all blemishes.. Im about to buy this now (for the first time) that's why I have been scrolling for reviews.. Thanks for this review..
Frankincense essential oil is the BEST thing that kills my my pimples. Only discovered it at age 40, unfortunately. If I dab it on as soon as I feel a sensitive spot (especially if I re-dab later), the pimple dies away. Thanks for your review on this foundation -- I wanted to see it used before I bought it. Just want to see if the "glow" version is dewier & better for older skin, so we'll see!
I use frankincense oil here and there too! But never for spot treatment. I'll have to try that! Thanks for the advice 😊😊
I use a THC balm that I actually bought for sore muscles and omg!!! Its magical. Completely vanishes any pimples! Very oily but I just rinse it off and moisturize!
@@EmpyreanFalling what?!?? What is this magical creation?
@@madelinekatherine2803 I purchased it at my local dispensary (California) and it's by Papa & Barkley. It is called ReLeaf Balm and I just randomly put it on my skin one night :O
It was also a day that I heavily moisturized but usually I still have to wait for the acne to run its course. It COULD have been a fluke but it shrunk and vanished in less than a day. I will try it again if I have a breakout and report back, lol.
The foundation looks beautiful on your skin! 💕
Katherine Lescano thank you!! It's such a great formula I'm literally obsessed
I realize this video is 4 years old but I have had so much less acne since I started using my hands/fingers for my foundation
I'm late to this video too, but I found that part super funny because I aborted a sponge/blender as a teenager and been using my fingers ever since --- I'll be 40 end of the month and still doing it this way (LOL)!!! I'm sorry but I've had every blender they make and high end/nice brushes, but nothing works better than fingers!
Omg wow. Look at that smooth application
Your eyebrows are amazing 👀👀
Ashley Jane aw thank you so much dear 😊 I did them before this video so trust me they're not naturally perfect 😂
@@madelinekatherine2803 rarely anyones are! If you haven't done a tutorial yet, you should.
@@HereForTheFoodAndMakeup I don't think I've done an official tutorial on those so good idea! 😊
Girl!!! I love your eye makeup! Wow
Thanks so much dear! 😊🥰
I love how you did your eyes here 😍😍😍
OMG! I love your eyes 💗
amaaan z omg thank you so much!! 😊❤️💋
Contemplating purchasing this. Is this one better coverage than the Clinique Acne?
good review))) you have a big future
Gorgeous!
I can't wait to try this eye look. Hopefully, it's novice-friendly.
Steph Leyba it's a really good eyeliner look for hooded eyes! (Works for eyes that aren't hooded too) definitely one of the "easier" winged eyeliner looks imo since it doesn't go all the way across the lid of the eye if that makes sense
MadelineKatherine sounds perfect for me. Thanks! ♡
Steph Leyba of course 😊
i LOVE your eye makeup. so gorgeous!!
Dermablend has been my favorite foundation since 2005. They changed the formula about 4 or 5 years ago and I stopped using it. Only recently I tried it again. It's still not as good as it used to be. They watered it down a lot..
OK you are in Alabaster.
And it looks good☺
Thank you for the review
Me too! I loved it amd her makeup
Hi, where did you get your pillow cases? They are awesome!
Gypsy warrior!
I'd rather use my washed hands to apply my foundation, than using a dirty sponge. If anything that sponge will give you more acne because you're spreading germs around your face. 😟
I think I would enjoy your videos a lot, but that you tend to ramble prevents me from fully enjoying them. I really like your personality, but I think you could funnel it more effectively. I usually critique people, if at all, for being too formulaic, but I think you could benefit from more structure to your videos. I rarely watch videos sped up, but I felt the need to watch this one at 1.5.
Thanks for the advice! I find I struggle with saying too much but also want to be sure I'm saying enough for those that are genuinely looking for a full review if a product and not the fake beauty gurus who just say everything is great in a quick video. You know?
Hey girl! I totally get what you're saying. You are candid, and your conversational style is so refreshing. I watched some of your more recent videos, and I think you are improving with every video!
@@nickiriker7438 aw thank you so much! That means a lot to me. It's so easy talking with people then you get in from of a camera and it's like.... 😶 Haha working on it!
Which undertone do you have? I wanna buy the foundation but I'm not sure about which color I want. I know I need the lightest color but the undertone is always a big problem for me because I have a more yellow undertone. My skin is way worse than yours, so do you think it will still work well? Thanks for making this video it already helped me❤️ hopefully you will see my comment even though it's a half year later.
Ann-Cristin Wriggers hi darling ❤️ I totally understand finding your undertone is hard I'm still trying to figure it out sometimes (lol) definitely why I went and got matched by one of the Clinique employees since they have a really accurate chart they use. As far as undertones you may be like me! The reason I struggled figuring mine out was because apparently I'm actually a mix of warm and cool so what they call "neutral" so I can get things in medium or light as long as they're neutral and depending on how tan I am or not. I've discovered neutrals give me the best coverage and don't end up looking "orange" or "yellow" on my skin throughout the day. Hopefully that helps! 💋
Ann-Cristin Wriggers as far as coverage I do think it works very well. My Dermablend is my HG for acne coverage but this is a nice lighter and more breathable option.
MadelineKatherine thank you💋
You are beautiful 💗💗!
Thank you so much sweetheart so are you!! ❤️😊
MadelineKatherine no problem sweetheart❤️ and thank you so much !!
What primer did you use
What do y'all recommend im light-medium with yellow undertones
Have you ever gone to the Clinique counter to get matched?? Honestly that was the best decision I made because I didn't want to risk it and they matched me PERFECTLY. Which is nice because now if I try any other of their foundations they all have the same name for colors and shades so I always know which one I need.
Which CLR is best for medium tone plz guide
Very nice!
refer any Compact powder according to this foundation tone plz?
Do you wet your beauty blender first?
Yes I do! Makes a huge difference
Thanks for this!
Of course!
I use the same shade of this foundation and you are MUCH tanner than me (it seems) 😳😳😳
My box lights were warming me a bit so I look more tan here. Trust me I was pretty pale haha
5:37 make up application
So... does foundation doesn't gives you more acne or something similar? 😢
Hi there! I'm a bit confused by your question, can you please elaborate? ☺️
@@madelinekatherine2803 Oh thanks for answering, I wanted to now if the foundation could affect in a negative way a really sensitive skin with acne tendency 😢 thanks💜
Ah okay that makes sense! I have super sensitive skin and this makeup I can say does not break me out. Of course, everyone is different but Clinique has been known for their acne friendly products. I've been using this for two years now and have no issues
Thanks! You helped me to decide, I can't wait to buy mine 💜
Too much talking
Was so annoying wasn't it?
Funny, I find anything other than my fingers gross.
sugarplumfairy20101 right?! And honestly we should all feel the way you do lol because it's true
💛💛
Sj Healey 😊🖤🖤🖤
Why do you touch your hair so much. I don’t think your fingers have less germs because your hair has grease and I’m sure you’ve been touching your products when you’re hands weren’t clean. Soooo... here is my constructive criticism 😁
Thanks babe but I don't need the sass 💋
I feel you. I never touch anything and i mean anything unless im done with my skincare and makeup routine. I always start with clean hands.. If ever i really need to touch something in between my routine, i gotta wash my hand first before continuing what im doing on my face.
Czarina Kaye Rosana don't forget to clean your skin care product bottles/containers frequently too! it's common to forget how many germs are on the outside of the product. I've noticed this helping reduce my breakouts
@@madelinekatherine2803you talk to damn much!
I have this foundation and it makes very obvious creases on my forehead and around my nose..
Yeah I feel like all foundations do that for me too 🙄 do you set this areas with powder at all?
