My son begs to read Life of Fred every morning for the last 2 years. He loves quirky stories. It is a fun way to review. Even if it is too easy, math wise, at the moment, he still learns a few extra random things and enjoys the story.
So many good things! I recently picked up Life of Fred Apples too with thoughts of including it in our morning time. I've had Artistic Pursuits for years but somehow just never manage to make it happen. That Biology set looks wonderful! Can't wait to see what you think about it.
Yes!! Artistic pursuits is hard to prioritize 🙈 I think we’re going to work in life of Fred next week to see how we like it since we have it from the library anyway. Hoping it’s a good addition!! < accidental pun lol
Looks like a great line up! We love Life of Fred and if you can get it from the library that's amazing! My 5 year old LOVED The Story of Jesus' People. Level 2 Taking the Middle East, was my favorite!
Thank you! Our library has most of them 🙌🏼 it’s tiny but actually has a homeschool section 😂🙌🏼 ooo ok that’s good to know! I’m on the fence about using a specific location since it won’t flow as well with whatever we combine it with, but that helps knowing it’s good!!
Why does nobody teach History in chronological order? The facts come from something that happened before and evolved. Rome has no sense without Greece and any of them without Egypt.

Oh no way! That’s what I’m hoping for 😍 “too easy” is great sometimes 🙌🏼

@@PiningOverHome we completed the elementary series and my son went into apologia math 5 just fine.
Do you follow Sonlight curriculum or just buy the history books as supplements?
I did get the guide this year to see if I’d use that portion, but it’s not really my teaching style, so I just use the books!

We have already studied Egypt and Greece.
Is your science Christian?
It’s a Christian company, but the curriculum itself is not
Science is the opposite of faith.
