Car looked pretty much pinned , and that was on an out of the box set up ..impressive 👏 I’ve yet to try glueing the cut staggers down to the rims, as mentioned , a video on how you did it would be appreciated, on one of the Facebook pages, some people cut the bead of the tyre , some don’t, look forward to more content 👍
If you all are running 17.5 I'd get a slipper eliminator 1st and a 69t spur. That will remove a ton of rotating mass from the drive train and make you quicker.
Nice video. I'm an old schooler and had The Gold Pan RC10 in the mid 80's which was good to Me. This is overwhelming! 2WD, 4WD, 13t, 17t, this version, that version. 😜 it's crazy! I think the latest 4WD AE is the 74.2? What's the latest 2WD? Thanks!
It was much simpler than for sure but that's awesome! Although these things now are soo good put the box! Yep it's a B74.2 :) looking forward to getting mine built for sure.
To be honest it's hard to compare as I didn't run the new fusion fronts on the LD2.. but what I can say is I thought it was alot more stable and easier to drive , being easier to drive and me being quite aggressive it felt much smoother and not so aggressive. I had lots of comments of people saying I totally changed my driving style and was much smoother! But I think it was that much more easier to go round. A new me.. haha.
I would say yes over my B6.1 , since then I've tried a couple of other brands , I would say I was faster out the box then my previous car , due to the stability of the 6.4.
Hi Seany, Ive just found out there is a club local to me and im looking to buy my first buggy at the grand age of 50, what sort of gear should go in it and are there still standard classes vs modified like I remember from years ago?
Yo! thats awesome! it alll depends on what your local club is running... it will determine what motor and ESC to get! for sure , stock classes and open classes are around , pop back when you know what they are running! :)
@@SeanyRC I’m going to play with the .4 a little but I might just switch back. I won two trophies first race with the .1 and didn’t even feel confident to enter with my .4 the first time out. I just ran my b74.2 and t6.2 last trip

Thank you! I think that has alot to do with it , video coming Thursday on the different ways to glue and different levels of grip to find!
Amazing unit

Awesome , thanks!
I would not run a slipper eliminator if you run a carpet track, strips idler gears. Getting the mod drivetrain will be a better result for carpet.

@@SeanyRC Different times for sure. I'm not sure what I'll end up with. One thing I know... it'll be quick and it'll handle well.
Can you do a vid of how you glued the front tyres down? Thanks
Sure! I was planning to do one with all combinations or glue / not glue etc! Cheers pal
Teamdaddyracing sell jigs to glue fusions and Schumacher. They are brilliant.
What turn motor is it running? Thats some nice driving 👍
Thanks :) its great fun, 13.5 in this one!
Looks glued to the track Sean... Absolutely flying mate...
Bit of a noob question but without the inserts in the front is grip roll not a problem??
Cheers pal! Noo it's not too bad , although this is stock not mod..
Out of the box on carpet how have you found it vs an LD2 say?

Did you have improved lap times updating from the earlier b6 models? As a newbie I wonder if I’d even be faster yet
I would say yes over my B6.1 , since then I've tried a couple of other brands , I would say I was faster out the box then my previous car , due to the stability of the 6.4.
@@SeanyRC I think I’m going to snag a .4 this week. I’ve got an original and a .1 now. If I can’t get a good deal I might order a b7. 🤷🏼♂️
@colestaples2010 plenty of mad deals right now! Good plan

Do you run the front anti roll bae aswel as rear?
What set you you got? Is it pretty good as the manual starting set up.
100% run the kit setup but with fusions glued down… on carpet anyway!
Thanks Sean 👍
Can I be cheeky and ask you what setting you go for on ESC?
Ofcourse! Nice and simple here.. it was a stock 13.5 blinky race so no changes to the standard blinky HW setting.
Hi there, what club is this? Thanks
This is IOWRCC on the Isle of Wight :)
Ah crap, that's a long way from me!! Looks a great track though. Thanks for the reply@@SeanyRC
I think I prefer my b6.1 over my .4
One of the best versions I’d argue! ( B6.1 )
