I just ordered one! I've done RC planes and helis and quads and basher cars for a long time but never tried nice racing cars. Decided I'd give it a try this winter as a rewarding way to spend time while my other hobbies go on hiatus due to weather. Going to be starting with 21.5 stock class racing. A lot of the clubs near me have Justock 21.5 classes so that seemed to make the most sense to me. I say near but all the nearest carpet tracks are about an hour and a half away. Bruh.
If you want a better battery hold down, the Exotek 1828 carbon battery hold down kit fits the B6.2 through B6.4 - super clean setup that is easy to use. I ran it on my B6.2, B6.3, & T6.2 without any breakage.
Once again, great video! If this is only 4 star performer, I really need to see a 5 star. Looked like it was on auto pilot on that track. Me driving it would have had the marshalls giving me the stank eye!!! All in all great job and keep them coming!!!
Nice to see NorCal Hobbies content from a fellow RC reviewer. Reminds me of UltimateRC I’m also in the SF Bay Area and I visit NorCal Hobbies once a month. Maybe we should meet up one day
Thanks for the review. Looks definitely like a larger upgrade. What worries me a bit is that for 2WD, Team Associated seem to have adopted the XRAY release policy of yearly updates. The problem for me is: I have just gone from 6.2 to 6.3 right before this came out. Would you recommend to upgrade again? I sometimes do racing, but not too competitive…
Hey man just got my 6.4 finished up do you have any setup sheets maybe for your setup at NorCal hobbies? The track I tried it on back at Idaho is a lot different but I’m now working and living in Morgan hill
B6.4D … D stands for dirt, I suppose? Why run these beautiful cars on high traction surfaces? Is that fun? I definitely prefer real dirt tracks, seems like more challenging and what the car is intended for.
Don’t knock it till you try it. Yes you get tons of traction but that in itself presents a entirely new set of challenges. I have more fun driving on carpet than dirt. Not to mention the lack of clean up that would normally e required after a race day on a dirt track.
I understand the sentiment. I think dirt is fun too but clay and carpet is also fun and like others mentioned and presents a new challenge. I run carpet cause that's what is around me and I don't wanna travel too far

That pass at 11:42 was slick as hell
I just bought a 6.4 buggy and a 6.4 stadium truck. Look forward to your review on the stadium truck.

Totally agree! Best review of this kit on the Internet. Think I will stick with my 6.3 tho 🇬🇧🇺🇸🇬🇧🇺🇸

If you’re not too competitive don’t bother upgrading, plenty of guys are still winning my local club races with 6.3’s and 6.2’s
@Lockdown spinning that doesn't really happen. The best rtr for racing is the losi tenacity tt pro and db pro. I beat tekno sct kits
I Still run a b6.... it can still compete save your cash bud
Great video! Are you located in the San Jose area because I noticed that you were at Norcal, Hobby’s race track? Keep up the great videos.

The slipper eliminator is not meant for carpet?
If you were gonna run this only on blacktop and concrete, would you recommend the dirt or carpet version?
What’s the pinion size that u run on that motor?
can you do an updated 4wd buggy comparison, including the updated versions of the cars used in the first one
Cool RC and awesome review
Does this blow the tlr 22 5.0 a/c out of the water??
speed secrets?
it's no secret I got no speed 🤣
Dude, the losi 22 5.0 is way cheaper at $320
But it’s Junk … 😕
@@fallrookmikeit wins everything lol

Also high traction clay is a blast… still get the big jumps but with a twist compared to the regular dirt, I haven’t tried carpet yet!
