My condolences
Omg watching this now at a time like this. I can really relate in almost every way. I just lost my mom, 5.27.22. My dad and her have been together over 45 years. Presently he only has one child out of 3 residing in Jamaica who is left to visit him often. It's an overwhelming feeling. Unexplainable. My mother was my bestie. I empathize and pray for anyone who is going through such a painful experience. We learn to cope more than just heal. For me God is my strength and comfort and support from those around me. Thanks for this program.
2019 was the roughest year of my life, so many people died on both sides of my family. People died every month and I was having a physical/emotional/mental breakdown and didnt even know it because I was trying to be functional at work and internalizing my grief.
Covid in 2020 took my cousin and 2021 Covid took my favorite Auntie. I reach the stage where I just am existing one day at a time...smh..this is a sad topic..
I know I'm late but love and respect for this, it really breaks my heart to see you so sad but that's apart of life; you really held up. This pain has no timeline for being fully healed But I pray for your continued strentgh each day. 💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓

Oh my God she's so young I don't know what to say right now my condolences to the Clark families and to Emprezz as well I lost my husband too two months now the fifth of April this month Monday the twelve of April this Monday here is thirty four years of marriage but the nineteen of March last month is twenty eight years we separated however he was in the hospital at KPH for four months two weeks and two days and I was there for him every day and I did my best for him and thanks be to God my best was good enough with prayers and fasting messaged him Anoint him exorcise his joints every day up until the day he passed away I did it Friday morning he passed away Friday night eleven p.m. and that's it it's sad it's so sad I still can't believe that he's not here with us anymore it's so sad am still hurting still still sad but thank God for Jesus Hallelujah thank God for my prayer partners my pastors my family and friends for their words of encouragement and prayers thanks be to God
Losing a love one is never easy. I lost my sister 2 years ago and to this day I can't speak to my niece or nephew without crying. I'm not at the place to listen to her voice messages or Whatsapp not to mention looking at her photos because I remember the story to each of them as she would have shared. I also lost my brother 1 year ago to covid. He was in the hospital and said he was feeling better then we got that dreadful call.
What comforts me is that they are in a better place.

Just wanted to add i want you also myself included we have to be thankful that God give us the privilege to know the people he has place in our lives.My friend pass away after giving birth the days after due to the doctors mistake she has left behind two beautiful young daughters one will have a small amount of memory of her because she was just seven the other one will not.Just saying this to say we are bless to have known our love ones.There are countless people who did not have the experience we got so with saying all this love your show you and everything that you bring to the table i know its very hard but god is our strength and he has surrounded us with amazing people take care.Coming all the way from Trinidad really love your show its really uplifting.

And simone it was so hard for me because i visited my mom at the hospital the same day upon arrival at the hospital i called her and asked her what she wanted to eat she said she would like a fries and chicken with cheese and moyonaise after purchasing the food at the hospital resturant i suddenly felt a pain in my heart like something went missing like my soul was lost i told my cousin something was wrong because she came to the hospital with me so i ran up to her ward where she was at i ran in the doctors suddenly stopped me and asked qho i came to visit i said my mom and stated her name they asked me to step outside from that moment i knew something was wrong and i looked where her bed was and she was covered under the white sheet i knew it was her because i didn't see her anywhere else the doctor came and ask my age at that time i was 17 i told them 17 she i have some bad news i didn't wanna hear anything else i fell on the floor and started to cry i called my brothers and sister because i was the youngest child for my mom i didn't know what to do my sister was pregnant with her baby and my brother was going back to kingston and my other brother was at work i was the only one who lived with her and took care of her because she was ill and no one else i was depressed at times i said thsis wasn't true i woke up slap my self and said it was a dream but it wasnt i still wake up in the morning expecting her calls shes my best friend and my everything i still dial her number todate to see if she is gonna pick up but she didn't i am still broken
I too lost my mom in 2019 n its hard to get over bt i live by what she has taught me and remembering how fabulous she was

I agree. I lost my mother 15 yrs ago. I still miss her.. Especially her birthday in March. Mothers day has lost its significance. Christmas time, which was her favorite time of year. I had to force myself to remember that she wouldn't want me to stop living, stop celebrating and enjoying life. So I purposely focus on my happy memories and get my strength to move on. I still hear her speaking to me. She lives on in my siblings and me. And all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
This year makes 10years since ive lost mine i feel like it was yesterday i share the exact sentiments for Christmas,mother's day etc. It still hurts like hell

Thanks so much for this show. I'm just watching it today after my mom died April 6, 2021. Somebody told me about the show and my condolences go out to you. My mo.was 96 years old and I didn't get to see or speak with her before she died. I miss her very much

I lost my mother in August 2009. She had breast cancer. I dreaded her birthday in November, my birthday in May, Mother's Day, and all major holidays. I was very close to my mother, and the fact that I am still single with no children makes it harder. Then, about two years ago, I decided to make a concentrated effort to celebrate these special days. I am on my own still, but my faith in Jesus Christ keeps me going. May Jesus Christ continue to bless and keep my fellow bereaved persons.
Sending Hugs. My mom's bday was November 16 and she died on Mother's Day. My birthday was the day after.

Sim, sorry to hear about your mom. I truly understand your pain because my mom passed under similar circumstances on December 22, 2020. I can still remember the day, the hour, the minute and the seconds when the doctor called and said she passed. Be strong and take all the time you need to heal. No one can tell you how long that will take. It's an individual thing!
I was actually there when my mom took her last breath i was shock i fell on the floor i couldn't i cried i shout my older brother traveled from kingston the same time and came he held me and told me its gonna be ok i still haven't gotten over it

Cry if you need to, screen if you want to, do what you feel like doing to make you feel better. I have a friend who lost his wife and he tried to conceal his feelings said he was ok but on the day of the funeral as soon as the hearse pulled up he fainted, had to be rushed off to the hospital and didn't get to see the funeral

This has got to be the saddest episode I've watched since the start of Sim soul session. Your mom was a beautiful human being, she was poised with grace. I could see the grace of God on her as she looked so young and fresh. I know she's smiling down on you from heaven and like Dahlia said, life has a way of preparing us for things to come and maybe this was one reason for the birth of this show.
