I used to care what people thought about me and I was a people pleaser and the day I stopped caring what people thought and came off social media, my life elevated tremendously. My dad died exactly one week before my 18th birthday , I am now 21 and things have never been the same since he passed. I related sooooooo much to your story (don’t even know why I’m so emotional writing this😪😩) but healing is hard and on my days where I feel like I’m going crazy I hold on to the belief that I’m where I am for a reason and the lord is very intentional about his decisions. I have always enjoy you as an individual. This interview had me crying. At each stages when you opened up about how insensitive we women (girls) are to each other I just could not contain myself. My mom was away so I chose solace now looking back in detrimental environment that just made me feel worse. My actions spiral out of control until I had my son at 20 - he gave me hope and to this day I remains a student. You are right after 40 I just became a butterfly; I release myself from people pleasing and have learned to say “NO” without feeling bad for choosing me. An inspirational interview. I have always enjoy you as an individual. This interview had me crying. At each stages when you opened up about how insensitive we women (girls) are to each other I just could not contain myself. My mom was away so I chose solace now looking back in detrimental environment that just made me feel worse. My actions spiral out of control until I had my son at 20 - he gave me hope and to this day I remains a student. You are right after 40 I just became a butterfly; I release myself from people pleasing and have learned to say “NO” without feeling bad for choosing me. An inspirational interview.
