Best "B-side" ever, came out together with the YOLO single. IMO ahead of it's time, top 5 Band-Maid song for me. Heavy with one of Kanamis best guitar solos. I promise, listen to it 2 more times and you'll love it.
I actually like the B-sides of most of their singles more than the A-side with 1 or 2 exceptions. Unfair Game and Matchless Gum are B-sides from their YOLO single (yes, it was released before the Just Bring It album) and are among the first songs written by Band-Maid together with Alone and obviously YOLO. There is also an instrumental version of YOLO on that single as a 3rd B-side. The cover you see on the video is one of the 2 covers for the single, the other one features Saiki's blue flower and black bonnet instead of Miku's. Band-Maid tends to put B-sides on their singles that they don't put on the albums, possibly to keep selling the singles. It's the same with them snubbing Hibana and not putting it on the Unleash EP even though it's (imo) the best track on the Sense single. The funny thing is that they do play a bunch of them live (and even put one of them in a movie: "Choose Me"), so that's why I think they purposefully don't put some of them on albums even though they think they are good songs.
It's just a b-side of the YOLO single. And Band-Maid b-sides are always incredible! Most don't appear on albums. Remember, "Thrill" was a b-side too! (Of their first single "Love Passion Matador")
I didn't know about Band-Maid when the YOLO single was released - before Just Bring It, as you say - but I can't imagine what it would have been like if I had. Much as I love the early songs, I feel like YOLO and JBI were such a big step up. I can change my mind about who's my favourite singer, guitarist, bassist, drummer, etc, but Kanami is definitely my favourite songwriter. (Actually, now I think about it, I would probably have felt much the same as I did about W and Ace, seven years later.)

I am still half asleep. 😊 But I am hoping the Ladies combine all of their B-sides and non-album singles into a new album. Plus maybe an album of all of the alternate versions of the songs.

This was about the same time as "Brand New Maid" (2016) It was on the "YOLO" ep along with a YOLO Instrumental and "Matchless Gum" which you can hear on their 2017 LIVE show I believe. "Unfair Game" is a song I swear was an inspiration for "BRATS" (Japanese Rock Band now unfortunately Dead) style in many songs. Akane musy have had cockroaches under her kick pedals here I believe. Waiting for Band-Maid's "B-Side C-Side" concert. .......... wouldn't that be a special one.

The Start Over single 2018 included Secret Maiko Lips but also another non album track Screaming. The single Glory also 2018 included the non album Hide And Seek. The single Different included Don't Be Long and a short version of Different. Lastly the single Sense 2021 included Habana and the non album Corallium. Did I miss anything?

This is one of my favorite Band Maid songs! And one of my favorite Kanami solos! She is amazing this sweet, little guitar Queen!!!
