If so, the Netherlands would've won it many times, back when Russia was able to play in the EUROS they had a insanely strong team, Denmark and Greece never had a good team the past 10 years. All the winners from the EUROS the past decade were all proven worldcup winners. Worldcup is easier, because you have teams like saudia arabia or south Africa etc, ofcourse it will never be easy, but the level is way different between the EUROS.

I share that sentiment too, euros comprises of a select few top playing nations, so no easy routes, teams always rank from 1-60 at most. The world cup is the total opposite of that, considering mbappe has won the world cup and failed in the euros severally, he is in good standing to give his opinion and I concur. The world cup is the bigger tournament hence the word "world" but the euros is most definitely the most competitive. It's similar to the la liga and the epl, la liga has arguably the best teams in the world based on trophies won in Europe but the epl is more competitive hence more entertaining and tougher to navigate.

At the beginning of every world cup the favourites almost always get it, the euros have never been that predictable, which is a welcomed factor cuz so called "average teams" or teams that are not equally as armored as the top teams have seen this pattern over the years and are more of a test. The euros is not as predictable, the world cup is. They are both 5 star competitions btw and I honestly feel the euros is harder to win.
