I love this video. Thanks for sharing. A technique to save time could be used at 3:10 in. After changing the squares to circles, while the group is still selected, cut the selection (Ctl - X), grab the lines all at once, merge the lines, and paste the selection back (Ctl - V). I use this technique a lot and over the course of a project, it can save a ton of time.

They rotate on their axis instead of doing it around the inner circles. I followed each of your instructions, but I get the same result. Do you know why? What may I be doing wrong?
