@@kenken-pf7ct That was a phenomenal interview wasn't it? The thing that goes underappreciated is the intelligence Izzy's team possesses. Master Bareman reminds me of Firas back in the GSP days. His attention to the minutest of details is uncanny. He's severely underrated as a coach, and I personally believe he's one of - if not the best coach in the game right now. He's very, very, VERY methodical in his approach and leaves no stone unturned.

Refusal to say “hey I was rooting against him but wow, congrats to him, best man won at the end” ..usually the hater cowers away after they are wrong, which they always are as history has shown time and time again.
Usually come back the next time izzy is fighting and back his opponent praying this is the guy that beats izzy.

Izzy was already looking past Jan before the fight, huge mistake. Izzy lacks the physical power and body weight to compete at LHW and HW is far beyond him and this was evident at UFC 259. Jan easily took him to the ground and Izzy looked lost and had absolutely no answer to the heavier man being on top.
