about Mahito and how he is stronger than before because as we seen in 18 he is the type of curse who feeds off negative situations more like unfair death because remember when he said to itadori "you are me"he and yoji the other side of the same coin he feeds off on greif and up usement and straight up puppet control people lives to un fair deaths that's how he is born that's how he is growing
yoji on the other hand as we know from jjk 0 has been given his own curse by his own grandfather ((find a meaning in your own death die with people who knows you around you))
yoji want to give people a proper death while mahito is the oppsite
2nd thing nanami was aware of using his curse enegry to make a shield to protect his soul and was teaching itadori while nobara did not get any of that teachings i believe
nanami could not protect his soul because his curse is basically fullfilled ((over time)) dying doing his job that's the ultimate fullfillment for overtime in the culture where the writer live i believe as well china is always known for people dying while working
nobara as a death tho i do not think it is really death because it was not cut dry shown off as every death like jimba who mahito turned to monster got his body destroyed by yoji hand going from stomaic to back nanami body explode and so on so force we have fushigoro never have that and still alive kinda gato in jjk0 only seen arm and face damaged and cut off never shown body destroyed and came back from the dead
it is kinda capping for me to say it but i will say Nobara is not dead until it is said or shown cut dry people walk off half face burnt and nanami fought with half body burnt

In the Manga there was a narrator who explained that Nobara was on a blindspot and couldnt see the double switch with the real one so she didn't know the Mahito who was running towards her was the real one who can use Idle Transfiguration on her.
I like that a lot, maybe if mappa had a good schedule they could’ve animated that cuz I doubt that would get shown next ep

Even if she didn't see the switch, that wouldn't explain why she didn't even try to dodge Mahito's touch. That could just have been a regular attack and she'd be dead regardless.

So, not so fun fact time. Gege actually drew a color page of Mahito smiling and happy over dolls of Junpei, Nanami and Nobara right after the chapter with Nobara came out(or around then). The amount of chill that this series and its creator don't have is wild. But it also goes to show how smart Mahito is. Even with his back against the wall, even with the handicap of not being able to use any of his stronger techniques on Yuji due to Sukuna, he's constantly thinking. He's constantly learning. And he's constantly adapting. He managed to turn his disadvantage into a victory. He destroyed Nobara in front of Yuji, just like he said he would. What a fantastic villain. Absolutely menace character

Between Sukana switching back with Yuji and him going to see Nanami get killed is about 4-5 mins. From Nanami to seeing Nabara get killed is 10 mins. So within 15 mins yuji saw everything Sukana did, nanami and Nabara die, so I'd say back to back

The thing I would bring up is all this shit is meant to show one thing, just how fucked they are without Gojo. I mean even Nanami said it when Yuji was shouting about Gojo being sealed “If that’s true, then it’s over……for every human in this country”. Clearly outlining how incredibly bad the situation is.
It feels like I am starting to get the themes that the author is going for with this story. Ever since yuji talked to his grandpa it seems like he gave a curse to yuji of "helping others" and "to die with the people you love surrounding you" yuji goal is also to "give people a proper death" in which was said in episode 2, also all of these were rung out in the beginning of the last episode. And ever since this curse was given to yuji, no one is the series has had a proper death. This makes me wonder if itadori will ever reach his goal or be cursed until he dies, maybe surrounded by no one in the end.
btw the anime did nobara dirty, it was explained in the manga that she did not see the switch between the real mahito and the clone. And even in the manga she tried to fight back before getting touched on the face.
I want to honor Nobara and give her some props. She was an even bigger enemy to Mahito than Itadori was because of her technique. Since Mahito maintains control of any souls he transfigures her technique could be applied to him a whole lot more than a punch from Itadori, that's why she was so confident when seeing him since she assumed she'd be up against his usual strategy of converting humans. Mahito's main defense was that something not affecting his soul directly wouldn't matter. Nobara's ability to reflect damage to the "source" was absolutely his kryptonite. Between Megumi's love of threatening double suicide, Itadori's confidence in his hands, and Nobara's intrusiveness in her technique they would had the potential to dominate the Jujutsu Society.
At this point JJK is a job, this shit ain’t fun no more. But I need to see it through, for those that couldn’t.

when Nanami died, i was fairly calm (tho i was upset), but this was different.
when she died, i was on the verge of crying, i ran quickly to the bathroom and took a shower (to confuse my tears with water) and took a nap afterwards. bruh, i hate Gege, i really want to fight him (and Mahito). she was one of my top 10 favorite character in all media.

Honestly some of the most fun I've head discussing manga with people.
This is a flaw of the animation direction, in the manga it's clearly stated that Mahito hid the switch up so that Nobara wouldn't know he was the real one, and the distance between them is way shorter as well, in the manga she arrives pretty much face to face with him. So surprised to see Yuji, didn't know they switched and had almost no time to react.
Man... seeing Nobara get clapped like that hurt, I had to go take a walk after that scene.
JJK might as well be a Seinen at this point.

Also for Nanami in S1 surviving one touch from Mahito but Nobara dying from one touch, it's cause Nanami was a stronger sorcerer and had a better instinct for defending his soul (though you'd think Nobara would be good at that too considering her resonance ability)

What Mahito said about Nanami is that, the first time he fought Nanami in that cave/underground spot he couldn't kill him in 1 shot because he was strong/grade one. He didn't struggle at all to kill Nanami this time. And keep in mind, Mahito is a special grade. We even saw in Jogo's death scene that Hanami was talking to Jogo saying that 'Mahito is still alive, and hes the strongest of all of us, thats why you planned to make him leader" etc, so we shouldn't be surprised that he's doing all this. Only reason he struggled vs Yuji and Nanami last season is cause that was basically his first ever full fight, and Sukuna worked his soul crazy.

In the manga, the narrator said that Nobara let her guard down against Mahitos hands since she figured out the clone couldn't use his CT, but she didnt see them switch so she was caught off guard.
This the only show where I feel like the villains going to win in the end at this point especially what’s going on currently in manga I’m convinced that the villains are the main characters 😂
A bit of narration in the manga got cut from the anime explaining a couple of bits. Nobara's Resonance struck Mahito's soul via his double and since it hit the original's soul it re-bounded back to the double as well. Since she can hit Mahito's soul, she's his natural enemy like Yuji since Yuji can hit Mahito's soul because he's a vessel. There was also narration explaining how she got hit but other comments explained it. Also, Mahito was referring to his first fight with Nanami from Season 1 when he talks about not being able to kill Nanami with one touch, the manga makes it clearer since it shows the panels of that fight.

There’s a series that just started this season called I’m In love with the villainess. And I had read the whole light novel series before it was announced to be an anime so it’s the first time I’ve ever had the rank of being able to spoiler for a series. So someone asked me in the comments to spoil the series for him because he had midterms coming up and wasn’t sure if the show would make it to the end so they wanted to know before they got busy and wouldn’t have any free time. I wrote a paragraph explaining all the twists that happen and sent it to them…… I get a reply 6 hours later that just says “lol nice try dude but good story though” and I’m just thinking in like 3 yrs the series is gonna end and that dudes gonna lose it
as for why she didnt dodge mahito the manga explained that due to her battle against the double she let her guard down against mahito's hands. she was also in a blindspot so she didnt notice the switch
