As someone who grew up with a whole family full of sociopath manipulators, seth went mask off during one point. His whole rant about nobody being able to prove anything. If you notice it’s not about him being innocent, it’s about how no matter what, nobody can “prove” it. It’s just like with family members of mine. You could catch them walking away from the act with a mountain of obvious circumstantial evidence that speaks for itself, but if you don’t have them on camera while holding today’s newspaper while also verbally admitting it then you can’t prove anything. It’s absolutely crap. Even admitting to “lesser” horrible actions while not admitting to the rest is just a way to seem reasonable. Even when by doing so it contradicts their whole defense and “context” they’ll still act as if you’re just attacking a person trying to be reasonable and take accountability when they really aren’t. Then there is the thing of “ I didn’t do that someone else did” even though you orchestrated it. He needs serious help. I’m feel horrible admitting it but because of my family environment I used to be like that, albeit not to this level. You can take action and get help, you can choose to acknowledge what you’re doing is wrong and learn to be a decent person. However that starts with accountability and acknowledgment that what you’re doing and who you have become is wrong, truly and fully with no deflection.

I think that they misrepresented Clyde in some ways. I've been a fan of swag, Clyde, and Seth for years. No lie. I’m glad people are calling out Pacgod not understanding how abusive relationship work, especially when the abuser has a big influence into the financials of the victim. “Why did they stay” is probably the most bone headed take I’ve heard in this stream, and that’s saying something.

Keem should have never started this live without watching Clyde's video. A lot of this live was questioning about stuff that was already explained on the video, like how Seth basically positioned himself to be Clyde's "savior" to make him emotionally and financially dependent on him. It's easy to say "Why would you work with a psycho?" when depending on his money to survive and having no family to bakc you up. And they barely spoke about Omar, the shit that Seth put him through is even worst, and for absolutely NO REASON whatsoever.
What speaks the loudest for me is how human Clyde's reaction is compared to Seth who downplayed his actions and how he said swag was a nobody even though he was involved in some of the more heinous actions continuing to talk about how relevancy and attention is the most important motivator when he speaks about himself and why he thinks Clyde was jaded was because of attention paints a real picture of Seth's true motivations, that he will do literally anything edgy in the book for reactionary attention in order to feed his ego and projects that intention onto other people's behaviors

This is just heartbreaking. I’ve been watching Seth and Swag for the better part of a decade. The collabs they did were the best videos that either of them ever did. I rewatched them over and over again. Always brought a smile to my face and made my day. It really saddens me that this is the way that this era is coming to an end. Doesn’t even feel real.

What Keem did here was incredibly disingenuous. You don't bring someone in under the false pretense of an interview and then try to force them into confronting a person they claim abused them. That's not getting "both sides" of a story; it's an ambush. If he wanted Clyde and Seth to speak, he should have made that clear prior to the show. And if that's not bad enough, he then tried to manipulate Clyde by telling him no one will believe him unless he engages in some Jerry Springer sideshow for Keem's amusement. Real classy.

Swag and seth falling out is one of the saddest things I've seen. He didn't even seem to want to slam seth at first in his stream where he first addressed the situation, he was very careful about throwing any shade and didn't want to burn seth. Swag said he bullied and genuinely said hurtful shit to him behind the scenes. Seth apologized once at first, but then does it AGAIN and that broke the camel's back of Swag's trust, which forced him to breakoff contact. It's really sad to know a friend you've worked with for years actually doesn't give a fuck about you and lowkey actually dislikes you, and doesn't actually respect you as a person at all, that's gotta sting like hell. Seth lacks a lot of self awareness, I've seen some narcissist but what I'm getting from him is he's genuinely at a disconnect as to why a lot of people piling on him like this. If Keemstar watched the video Clyde made, he wouldn't be so hung up on the "why did he hang out with Seth for so long?" question. Seth was manipulating Clyde emotionally and financially. Clyde actually treated Seth as his best friend and was giving him chances when Seth apologized and asked him to come back. But everytime Clyde came back, Seth would find a way to freak him over by binding Clyde to financial agreements and work agreements so he can't leave again. That's why Clyde wasn't able to leave for years.

Clyde literally prefaced his video by saying he hadn't spoken to Seth since January of 2022. And their interactions were on and off since 2020, pretty much. So the 4 years time frame that Packgod tries to say Clyde stuck by Seth is wrong. When the allegations first surfaced, he supported Seth like any friend would do in 2019 or whatever, fast forward to 2020 and Clyde finally sees Seth for who he is and questions his own morality for even being close with him... but he owed Seth thousands of dollars so he couldn't expose him because Seth would just say, "he's ungrateful, look at how I gave him this huge amount of money and now he's doing this for clout" something like that, so to prevent that scenario from playing out, Clyde HAD to gradually gather concrete evidence and try to get others to corroborate them(like SwagKage), because without it most of the community would take Seth's word over his own like all the other times someone previously called Seth out. Pre-2019, Clyde explains how he was dealing with things mentally, being all alone and suicidal, dealing with anxiety and depression and a whole lot. And Seth was the ONLY friend he had at the time, he obviously was VERY vulnerable during that time and Seth took advantage of that... to the point where he even made jokes about his suicide attempt and Clyde at the time, laughed with him about it because he couldn't even process how fucked up that was due to how MUCH he needed Seth's attention. So basically, since 2017 or whenever they became friends, Seth had been manipulating Clyde and overworking him etc. By 2019, Clyde pretty much worships Seth like a fanatic. He ONLY gained clarity when his life got better and he started streaming and having others to talk to that weren't Seth. *TIMELINE* 2017 to 2019, Clyde wasn't in his right mind and couldn't see clearly who Seth really was as a person. 2020 to 2021, Clyde wanted to expose Seth but needed to gather enough evidence to back up his claims. In between that, the Naruto vs Ichigo project was announced, which Clyde was initially meant to be a co-host because he was passionate about the subject, but eventually Seth kicked him off the project pretty much. Clyde still kept in touch with the animation team and voice actors but not Seth, that's in 2022 when he isn't talking to Seth. and 2023, he finally exposed Seth for who he is AND invited the animator on another video to discuss why the project failed. Bringing up the weird pedo stuff was the easiest way for Clyde to make it blow up and certainly, it caught huge channels attention that Seth couldn't bully, like MoistCritikal and Keem. The main issue currently is the Scamming thing. He tried to hide the fact that he scammed his fans and tried to bully anybody who called him out in his chat, do this exposé is a net-positive... Clyde wanted to expose Seth's character, but it opened a path for Seth's victims to all have a platform to talk about their interactions with Seth. It might sound absurd that Clyde is unironically a victim as well, but Seth has affirmed that to be the case as well. He admitted to it, and others like WebcamParrot, SwagKage and Noodles have also affirmed Clyde's claims as well. That's pretty much the whole situation, and the reason why "Clyde was still working with Seth despite the allegations" for those thinking like Packgod.

I think something that plays in Clyde’s favor for the people who clearly didn’t watch his video and were trying to shame an abuse victim for not wanting to hang around his abuser, is the fact that even though people were saying he had to stay to defend his thorough claims, Seth confessed to everything Clyde and others were saying anyways, and he ended the stream with the people who were trying to shame Clyde for not hanging around, all agreeing that Seth was a monster. That said, was there ever an apology to Clyde for trying to shame him into reliving his experience with his abuser just because other people were there to “have his back”?
Clyde is clearly not in condition to be around Seth or to adressing him directly for a while, maybe he will never be. Pressing him to do so was a really shitty thing for them to do.
Nah, I agree it would suck for him but I also think he should’ve stayed and confronted his abuser. If Keem and Pacdude acted biased he should call them out and leave the call. I have my own experience and the abuse loses a lot of its power once you confront the person. Else there is still a possibility to be talked to and go back to neutral. Having said that, I don’t think he did the wrong choice, if he wasn’t up to it he wasn’t up to it, but understand it may have been to his benefit. If you notice it’s not about him being innocent, it’s about how no matter what, nobody can “prove” it. It’s just like with family members of mine. I think that they misrepresented Clyde in some ways. I've been a fan of swag, Clyde, and Seth for years. No lie. But Clyde has said multiple times that his entire life, he's suffered abuse and mistreatment. This gave him a lot of mental issues and problems. Combine this with Seth straight up lying to swag, six, and Clyde, manipulating them, blackmail etc and I get the picture that Clyde just wasn't in a position to effectively defend himself and bring everything to light. Essentially, Seth manipulated a mentally ill person. They kept saying why did Clyde keep working with him but you gotta understand, Clyde wasn't in any position to help himself anyway and being attacked and abused was just too much. Add in the fact that Swag, Clyde, and Seth admit that issues were on and off. So when you consider the "good times" were mixed in, you get a recipe for absolute gaslighting and confusion. Seth is a friend But he's doxxing people. It's confusing and it's hard to really understand what's happening. Even for mentally strong person this stuff is difficult but Clyde was vulnerable. He was really vulnerable and Seth took advantage of that
Especially the taking money thing, that's absolutely manipulation. Yes, that was extremely notable. He was benevolent when trying to spin it in his favor, yet when he got mad, he was incredibly vicious. Not just with regards to Clyde, but with regards to other things to. Keem should have never started this live without watching Clyde's video. A lot of this live was questioning about stuff that was already explained on the video, like how Seth basically positioned himself to be Clyde's "savior" to make him emotionally and financially dependent on him. This is just heartbreaking. I’ve been watching Seth and Swag for the better part of a decade. The collabs they did were the best videos that either of them ever did. I rewatched them over and over again. Always brought a smile to my face and made my day. It really saddens me that this is the way that this era is coming to an end. Doesn’t even feel real.

Swag and seth falling out is one of the saddest things I've seen. He didn't even seem to want to slam seth at first in his stream where he first addressed the situation, he was very careful about throwing any shade and didn't want to burn seth. Swag said he bullied and genuinely said hurtful shit to him behind the scenes. Seth apologized once at first, but then does it AGAIN and that broke the camel's back of Swag's trust, which forced him to breakoff contact. If Keemstar watched the video Clyde made, he wouldn't be so hung up on the "why did he hang out with Seth for so long?" question. Seth was manipulating Clyde emotionally and financially. Clyde actually treated Seth as his best friend and was giving him chances when Seth apologized and asked him to come back. But everytime Clyde came back, Seth would find a way to freak him over by binding Clyde to financial agreements and work agreements so he can't leave again. That's why Clyde wasn't able to leave for years.

Clyde literally prefaced his video by saying he hadn't spoken to Seth since January of 2022.
And their interactions were on and off since 2020, pretty much.
So the 4 years time frame that Packgod tries to say Clyde stuck by Seth is wrong.
When the allegations first surfaced, he supported Seth like any friend would do in 2019 or whatever, fast forward to 2020 and Clyde finally sees Seth for who he is and questions his own morality for even being close with him... but he owed Seth thousands of dollars so he couldn't expose him because Seth would just say, "he's ungrateful, look at how I gave him this huge amount of money and now he's doing this for clout" something like that, so to prevent that scenario from playing out, Clyde HAD to gradually gather concrete evidence and try to get others to corroborate them(like SwagKage), because without it most of the community would take Seth's word over his own like all the other times someone previously called Seth out.
Pre-2019, Clyde explains how he was dealing with things mentally, being all alone and suicidal, dealing with anxiety and depression and a whole lot.
And Seth was the ONLY friend he had at the time, he obviously was VERY vulnerable during that time and Seth took advantage of that... to the point where he even made jokes about his suicide attempt and Clyde at the time, laughed with him about it because he couldn't even process how fucked up that was due to how MUCH he needed Seth's attention.
So basically, since 2017 or whenever they became friends, Seth had been manipulating Clyde and overworking him etc.
By 2019, Clyde pretty much worships Seth like a fanatic.
He ONLY gained clarity when his life got better and he started streaming and having others to talk to that weren't Seth.
*TIMELINE*
2017 to 2019, Clyde wasn't in his right mind and couldn't see clearly who Seth really was as a person.
2020 to 2021, Clyde wanted to expose Seth but needed to gather enough evidence to back up his claims.
In between that, the Naruto vs Ichigo project was announced, which Clyde was initially meant to be a co-host because he was passionate about the subject, but eventually Seth kicked him off the project pretty much. Clyde still kept in touch with the animation team and voice actors but not Seth, that's in 2022 when he isn't talking to Seth.
and 2023, he finally exposed Seth for who he is AND invited the animator on another video to discuss why the project failed.
Bringing up the weird pedo stuff was the easiest way for Clyde to make it blow up and certainly, it caught huge channels attention that Seth couldn't bully, like MoistCritikal and Keem.
The main issue currently is the Scamming thing. He tried to hide the fact that he scammed his fans and tried to bully anybody who called him out in his chat, do this exposé is a net-positive... Clyde wanted to expose Seth's character, but it opened a path for Seth's victims to all have a platform to talk about their interactions with Seth.
It might sound absurd that Clyde is unironically a victim as well, but Seth has affirmed that to be the case as well. He admitted to it, and others like WebcamParrot, SwagKage and Noodles have also affirmed Clyde's claims as well.
That's pretty much the whole situation, and the reason why "Clyde was still working with Seth despite the allegations" for those thinking like Packgod.

That said, was there ever an apology to Clyde for trying to shame him into reliving his experience with his abuser just because other people were there to “have his back”?

I have my own experience and the abuse loses a lot of its power once you confront the person. Else there is still a possibility to be talked to and go back to neutral.
