We have ignition and fuel. Why not ventilate to add oxygen instead of just adding water as soon as you show up.
Adding ventilation increases fire behavior. Adding water decreases fire behavior thereby decreasing smoke production, temperatures, and victim survivability. Water application is the number 1 objective to control fires.
