Got the guide and have read it all and it’s very informative.
My only slight niggle is that it’s more aimed at people in the us/Canada, I felt, and I live in the uk, felt it could have more information/content that would include the differences in f/c as an example.
As I say that how I felt.
But very much appreciated that it wasn’t a USA only information guide. As at the end of the day I can Google any differences- but I know most wouldn’t lol
    Thanks again for great information
    I’m away in a week.

Steve, love all your videos. Also the lives with Troy. We 200 percent need a Canadian vendor to sell your UWB. Random question, oyster shells are commonplace in a worm bin. What about crushed mussel shells for grit/raising the ph ?
    Thanks!

Thanks! I would love a consistent UWB vendor to sell to in Canada, that's for sure. I will probably be shipping a few pallets up there to be sold on Amazon dot CA within a couple of months.
As for the mussell shells, they would certainly have an increasing effect on the pH in your bin!

good to know -- thanks! Gosh -- I was feeding mine every 3-4 days. Is that too much?? They seem to go through the food fast.

Not necessarily. If they're eating that quickly, that's awesome!

Excellent great video as always this will help a lot of people especially if they have anxiety about leaving their worm bins unattended. If you have European nightcrawlers the one thing you must remember is what I learned from my mentor you have to add fresh bedding every 3 to 4 weeks and I heard somewhere I can't remember where that you have to change out the peat moss in Bedding every two weeks even if it's African nightcrawlers I believe. How often would you recommend harvesting worm bedding or adding fresh bedding if you're using coco coir? Also if you're using red wiggers or Blue Worms and depending on what type of Bin or system you have it wouldn't hurt to add extra bedding depending on how long you're going to be on vacation for because those two are very voracious

Hey, I like short videos like this. Perfect format to highlight just one point about VC'ing. 👍
I also raise a few tarantulas, and it's exactly the same. Been on holiday for 7 weeks last year, they were all doing just fine when I got back. Same as with worms, moisture is the only thing to keep in watch/make sure it won't drop too low.
    Cheers!
