    Dried smoked herrings (amani)
    Kanwa/ salt peter/ biocarbonate of soda
    Dawadawa

    Kpakposhito or any pepper
    Salt
    INGREDIENTS FOR STEW
    Beef
    Cow feet
    wagashie (local cheese)
    Palm oil
    Tomatoes

    Stock cube

      Exactly! Because most of the recipes online ain't original. Which is disturbing because that just means we are losing our culture! Our identity. It's a different thing to say "modified" recipe and another thing exhibiting the recipe wrongly!

    Lami, found you last night after shuffling through different channels for a TZ recipe...your recipe o doubt is THE authentic recipe... using your recipe now... love the stock you adddd to the jute leaves, none of the others did that. I appreciate this a lot. First recipe I have seen here on RUclips from a Northerner. Best recipe on RUclips. Will be stealing all the others, my faves Maasa, Kwen, kwen, koose.     I've never eaten tz before but strangely I've been craving for some lately...came across your recipe and tried some yesterday and oh my it was wow😲😋 I was just feeling accomplished after serving it.     Hello 😊😊here in Cameroon it's called kelenkelen soup,but we don't blend it we have the larger leaves so we chop it and it breaks in the pot,I'm happy I've learned a new recipe I'll try it🙏🙏🙏

    I'm not an Hausa girl but this is how I make my tuwo, I learnt from a Friend who's a northerner, usually I mix my cassava flour and corn flour together.... Nice one dear👍👍👍

      Thank very much Aba. Am really grateful. The names are ayoyo, ademe, moulkhia or jute leaves depending on where you are. The frozen one is called moulkhia.
