    Took a trip to Sedona back in 2011 and I remember it being so nice and pretty out. I move around and travel a lot and I’m definitely considering Arizona on my list, atm I live in Texas which weather wise is pretty comparable to Arizona

    I started laughing when he said weather is an F. That is funny. Not sure where on earth that came from as the weather in Sedona is some of the best in the country. It gets an 8 on the comfort index. Just to put in perspective San Diego is a 9.2. The weather in Sedona has mild 4 seasons with the hottest months being July and August. Clear sunny skies almost every day. Some species of hummingbirds stay year round. The weather gets an A- at worst.

    looks beautiful. I'm in Orlando, Florida, but I'm really considering moving out somewhere west in a couple of years. The Florida humidity is just so annoying, and I'm in love with the dry desert climate. My only issue with this city is it seems pretty spread out. I'd like to go somewhere that has at least a little walkable downtown.

      New Mexico is lovely. I spent 3 months Jan thru March crisp clean air. Everyone is healthy with lots of outdoor activities. Sky at night appears so close with its star-studded sky you almost feel like you could reach up and catch a star. Not sure about work, you have to check that out yourself. There is a state income tax,
      low last time I checked around 3% they have some kind of scale.

      No kidding! I live in Orlando too and have already bought a vacant lot in uptown Sedona. Been going there for spring break for the past couple of years. Planning to move there in 5 - 8 years. People ask isn't Sedona really touristy... and I reply, "I live in Orlando about 10 minutes from I-Drive and 10 minutes from Disney, so Sedona would be way better from a touristy standpoint." I've never understood the D rating for weather there either. The weather is almost perfect there. You get 4 seasons, you have skiing less than an hour away in Flagstaff. The nights are cool. Compared to Orlando it's an A+ (although the Orlando winters are unbeatable). I like the lakes in Orlando and would miss that in Sedona, but the hiking in Sedona is unbeatable.

    F for the Sedona climate? Then when Phoenix is 120 F and Sedona is 98 F with showers at 4 pm that cool it down to 68 F in July - what grade does that give Phoenix? You are way off bro...

    Hello AD :) I am new to your page. Great video! Sedona looks to be a very beautiful place to live. I moved to AZ, Tucson this year in July 2020. I expect that I probably won't lay down any roots in Tucson. Keeping options open. I love all the greenery in Sedona. Tucson has none of this. Looks like you shot this in 2018. Is it still like that there now? Looks like that is a much better kept city than Tucson.

    I wonder if any one rents just a room with bath. A lot of people do that where I live for added income. A months rent could be the mortgage payment or a good part of it.

    This was really helpful. I'm from CO but I've been living in Bend OR for a month. Was considering Sedona if I don't decide Bend. Its a bit cloudy here for me. I was just bored of CO and wanted a change. I do like the houses there.

    What if you are poor I wonder. I hear energy good there. I'd like to have a solar on top of a strong foundation gill above ground that is against storms. So much money for such homes not worth it if storm comes. Redicoulous. How about building practical homes ? They must make allot of money or paying long time yrs for that home if it's more then what they make. You went low on tin roof thing. I didn't get that. I would solar panel homes better.

    Living here for 4 years most, not all, but MOST of the people that live here are old. People whom live here are cool for the smallest of parts but otherwise the tourists are not cool. They dont know how to drive around. 56k is not the median. No way unless you work 2 jobs at least, you have no idea bro. Get a new job other than spewing facts. Stop playing Google Earth and lates take a real tour. Please contact me.

    • @LivinOurDreamz
      @LivinOurDreamz  5 лет назад +3

      Most people are older because of the lack of jobs, thus it's more a retirement / vacation home spot. You can debate the median income numbers with the census, not me. Updated facts show $58,000: www.census.gov/quickfacts/fact/table/sedonacityarizona/PST040217. I didn't know driving around and actually visiting a place was playing Google Earth? Feel free to do a better tour if you aren't happy with this one.
