    Happy Monday!
I really struggled with this one!
Not because the design is hard but my wire was! 😅
I really got sloppy towards the end. I should have put it down and resumed working the next day but time did not allow.
    So,
If you find yourself getting sloppy with your work and you are getting frustrated, just put it down for a day or two!
    Have a great week!! ☺️💜

Being transparent about any struggles you have is also incredibly helpful and I appreciate that a ton.
That way when I find myself dropping the stone for the fifteenth time (for example) I can think about what you said and will stay calm :)
So many other videos do not show any of the normal struggles that we go through, so when we do come across these challenges I feels more frustrating than it really should because we are comparing ourselves to the video.
Thank you again for your wonderful videos and fantastic jewelry!

Came for the Labradorite and stayed for the weave. Beautiful work and I commend you for knowing when it is time to step away. Well done!

It may have been hard and frustrating but it is beautiful! Copper would just not have done justice to the stone. The clean simple lines of the basic design combined with the intricacy of the weaving, the gleam of the silver against the iridescence of the stone -- just perfect!

It seemed extra springy. I get dead soft but I don’t think it’s usually this hard! I’m so used to copper now to. 🤔💜☺️

@@ZurickDesignsyou may have got incorrect wire delivered to you. I’ve ordered wire from rio before & did not get correct wire, it happens I work with Sterling Silver dead soft & it’s not usually springy or hard like that. I think that was half hardwire honestly you still did amazing

@ I see all the options you guys have in the states, it’s unreal, here you need to be a power seller not a “little person” to afford supplies!! I’ve it been in a supply shop for years - maybe just as well!!!! Even as simple as wire that’s affordable, findings like 925 chain loose your talking about £10-20 per foot!!! Simple things like obsidian or onyx 10mm coin beads impossible!! I’d love to try so many bits but… getting wire as in not just a reel of colour remain copper coated wire but actual wire it’s a mine field! A lot of utibers say it’s only a few dollars in x store or rip grande etc you can triple that here minimum! I love the cabochon in this it’s so lovely. To be able to see cabs to pick from would be so good - and very dangerous lol 😂😂😂 tutorials make it look so easy!! I’ve seen a few where they have reels of wire and makes you “itch” just to make!! 😂😂

I luv your polish! I was admiring it in the last video. Gorgeous color shift. Other than the fact you fussed a bit, it is something I might like to try someday. It just looks like too much at my current skill level.

That's a beautiful design but definitely an advanced project. So much weaving and so many wires!! You may not have had it available but what would the disadvantages be using 22g instead of 20g?

    • @ZurickDesigns
      @ZurickDesigns  8 дней назад +1

22 might work with a smaller stone.
I’m going to try this again using square and half round wire.
