My heart was very touched when I saw a child trying to soothe a crying friend at 1:21 . You see both of these students with the knowledge that they've been through trauma, and yet they're still putting emphasis on making sure those around them feel safe and okay. This gives me hope for myself and my little brothers, even though I'm not able to protect them anymore from where I live now.
Start holding the bad parents responsible for the trauma they expose these children to........... if you treat only the symptoms your not treating the problem because the kids go home and straight back into the same environment....mom's with several thug baby daddies, gangs, drugs, kids up all night roaming around not supervised let alone being cared for.......someone needs to address the adults who are neglecting these kids and causing the trauma in the first place.......

Incredible program. I am watching this in nursing school.
I think this is absolutely wonderful!!
Play therapy helps children get over a traumatic incident of that magnitude
Amazing program!

Absolutely. It's the trickle-down effect.

If you help the children, they will grow to be successful adults. Which eventually, will minimize future problems
