Imagine if Auriel just to piss Lazarus off would res him as a cold light walker and before they start the last fight against her a zombified Blazarus appears behind her to fight against the party
Wonder if anyone can help me - particularly Jacob - I want to run the same lingering injuries system as they are doing in this campaign and I'm just trying to get it straight. So when someone takes over half of their hp in one hit they roll a DC 15 Con save - and on a fail, they roll on the Expanded Lingering Injuries table from Xanathars Lost Notes to Everything Else. That much I understand, but the problem is it seems like it would be balanced better towards the endgame wouldn't it? If I start my level 1 characters with this system in place, then the first hit the wizard takes may end up with his arms cut off. Is that just part of the fun or is there something I'm missing? Thaaaaanks.
29:35 I got confused here, too, because you say 'expend' a number of hemocraft dice when hemocraft dice aren't an expendable resource. Blood Hunter's expendable resource is their Blood Maledict feature, so my mind went to that, but then you said 'up to five' when you can only use the feature 1-4 (5 for Ghostslayer) times depending on your level. (I get how it works now, just got confused on the first time listening).
So, to explain what Jacob means, at least as far as I understand, the hemocraft dice don’t get ‘expended’. Instead it’s, they can choose to roll up to 5 dice, with their type being the same as their hemocraft dice (d4, d6, etc), and deal the result as extra damage. This extra damage dealt is also taken by the user. They can use this ability a number of times equal to their proficiency bonus per short or long rest (I believe)
@@KingFirehammer Ahhhh okay okay, So would it have been better for him to say as you did "You can roll as many hemocraft dice as you have in your pool"
Bing Chi Ling is Mandarin for "Ice cream." Japanese is "Aisukurimu" In Mandarin Chinese "Bing" means cold or frozen in this phrase. I think "Chi-ling' could be related to the shape of the ice cream.
Is it because the word Gay was mentioned? Or did I misunderstand? If it was about the word "gay"... Grow up man. The world uses that word sometimes. If you keep living being "scared" or "offended" by a WORD... then you have to change that. Being offended is a choice man. Just live your life and leave everyone be, way less stress for you that way, trust me.

It's amazing that Jacob can DM and play at the same time. I wonder if Spencer gets confused by this too.

From what I've understood they don't use that rule until 3rd level onward to avoid the wizard losing their hand. Hope that helps
That makes a lot of sense. Thanks for your help

He is a ghost slayer, right? So it would make sense again.
