A technician told me my AOIY12rl2 circuit board and the terminal block cannot be replaced. They offered me a new system for $5000. and I am a pensioner with 35 years working in the electrical industry. I have gone without a/c for two summers now. There are no Fujitsu contractors in my city, the nearest one is a 3 hour drive away. And I do not feel I can trust anyone. The problem was caused (?) by the main black power wire becoming disconnected and some of the wire coating is melted. Is this a common event? There are flash burn marks all over the terminal block. I haven't checked the board for burn marks yet because i just learned how to do it a few minutes ago on RUclips. Could it be the power wire was attached incorrectly? My circuit breaker was not tripped in this event.

I have to many people destroy these board trying to remove them. They are showing you it here already removed from the condenser and it’s still a pain. This is a joke I’ve done a few because I have extreme patience but not manny can do this. Stick to Mitsubishi much easier to work on

Why fast forward when removing the board from housing? Oh right, it's still a major pain in the ass. Fujitsu is poorly designed for board replacement. Period. And boards fail waaay too often. Shame on the engineers. Not everyone has tiny Japanese fingers.
