@@t_amazing_rider I play all my less secure games on my old laptop that has nothing on it except a virtualbox. Downloading and playing any game from an unverified source has a risk, and it’s why everyone should practice internet safety, especially if they aren’t confident with the download source.

Most people don’t realize that the reason these games exist is largely due to hackers of the originals, TTR and TTCC both had hackers of TTO in their original teams. (TTCC had a rat in it early on, and there was an old Club Penguin server that hosted a virus that bricked people’s systems upon restart. And CursedForge still has a problem with mods on their website for things like Minecraft and TS4 having a virus.) I personally had zero issues and I always use a separate system from where I keep my private data since I have the means to do so, but it doesn’t mean it couldn’t happen to someone else and why I never say “These downloads are 100% safe!” If you download them to play it is at your own risk and you should always practice web safety and scan your system even after using virustotal to scan the files themselves.
