Definitely great observations and insight by the gentleman from Deacons Road.

Second man interviewed from Deacons farms {Red Sea} made some solid points.and I do believe some of their convictions should be expunged after a certain amount time and including attending some rehabilitation programs…

I'm from brittons hill. Back in the 80,s when I told my friends that I was getting a job I think I became an alien. Most people there back then did not go to school or could even read or write. I had no one to push me in the educational department. I was even cursed for reading under a tree

If are in your 80s, free education only came about in 1966 after the country became Independent so many families had to pay for their children education.
The bursary education existed and many families wanted the best for their kids other than Labour work, however, people were taught a trade.
The elite in society had the best jobs on the island and many had to leave the island to find work.

What are being called blocks were just liming spots for the people over 50. It could be an innocent neighborhood shop. Or just a mango or ackee tree. Just for the shade. No drugs. Maybe some singing... Now?

The snobbery still exists; that if you don't have a certificate, you can not be successful. Teach the children how to run a business:

Why's the guy rapping in an American accent? Emulating negative black American culture is part of the problem.

Correction the easy access of guns by the criminals. Law abiding citizens have to go through a long drawn out process and pay big fees. Next let us focus on single parenting and hide holds with no fathers involvement. Finally do like Israel. Young men when their reach a certain age most go to military school and serve fir a couple of years before going back into civilian life. More money from the tax payers never solve the crime problems.

Where are the youth centre. Where are investors and programmes for the youth to learn a trade: Mason, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, or surveyors. They will always need to builders who need to be paid a decent salary, not pittentance.
Teach how to create and run a business: accounts, manage money and workers.
or they business will be drugs and gangs.
