Amazing, Ive been looking for a mint mojito recipe that copycats Philz, except everyone else doesn't realize how important foam and creaminess is so they just throw in milk straight. I also have an espresso machine and milk frother so I can definitely follow this. Have you tried combining the half&half with the milk in the milk frother? I feel like incorporating the half and half into the frothing process would create optimal creaminess. Great quality vid, love!
Hello Julie! I completely agree that most videos don't emphasize the creamy texture that comes with Philz. I have not tried adding half and half to the frother but will get back to you on that! Hope you enjoy the future videos!
Thanks man! i was craving this and I'm glad I found your video. My personal modifications were made with decaf pour over & Monkfruit sweetener instead of brown sugar. Came out so much better than I expected.
This is very helpful for me man! I’m planing to build a small coffee shop here in my hometown. And I want to serve philz mint mojito to my shop. I really love that drink when I was in San Jose, Ca.
Honestly tastes exactly the same to me haha. Just make sure you follow the baseline of 2 tbsp brown sugar and 3/4 inch heavy cream for "sweet and creamy"!
I think it’s shaken no? And they don’t use espresso but a dark blend of coffee? Idk I’m newly obsessed with Philz which is how I came to your video. Your recipe looks good but I would have put ice in the cup first, then poured the shots over it, and then finished the way you did. Letting shots “die” in the cup while you prepare the other stuff seems like the espresso would get bitter. But I’m not an expert (I worked at Starbucks for 5 yrs not Philz 😂)
Awesome video. With the aeroccino do you find you can actually do latte art if transferring to a standard milk frothing pitcher or is the creme layer of the Nespresso coffee make it impossible? I have had little luck straight out of aeroccino.
Never could get the Nespresso Aeroccino right for latte art. I've seen videos of using a french press to froth being better. I do think transferring into another pitcher helps combine the milk well!
My coffee machine is arriving soon and this the the first drink I’m going to make 🥲 So update: I love my new Ninja Coffee machine and after a few times trying to make this….it’s tasting more and more like the Mint Mojito….the stores rang out of Mint so I got basil instead…that was probably why 😂 can’t wait to try it with Mint this time LOL
Can you please do the Philz iced coffee rose!!! I would love to see it
Will try that soon and make a recipe for the next video!
@@AlexYem Looking forward to seeing that video next because we’ve been looking for a recipe.
+1, looked but could not find something for the iced rose coffee. Were you able to do something? Thanks

No one right way to do it 🤝 Will keep this in mind for those who can't have sugar. Thanks!
I was interested, so I kept watching
Ik you appreciated the classical vibes
Thank you so much ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for sharing 😊 can you show us the 🌹 coffee next ❤️
THANK YOUUUUUU
Your video is very useful. 👍 Thank you very much.💕
Glad you liked it! Not the exact recipe but easier to replicate at home.
PLEASE DO THE ICED COFFEE ROSE 😭
They usually use pourover
Yep! I usually just go with espresso because it's faster.
@@AlexYem looks good nonetheless

Glad you liked the recipe! Please send me the link to your cafe when it opens!
Alex Yem yes absolutely! ❤️
Beautiful
Thank you! Cheers!
Thank you!!
Hope you give it a try!
Ohhh how does this compare in taste. Because Philz uses pour over, right?
Honestly tastes exactly the same to me haha. Just make sure you follow the baseline of 2 tbsp brown sugar and 3/4 inch heavy cream for "sweet and creamy"!
If I only have a steam wand will that work? Or is it bad because it makes the milk warm?
Steam wand works but yeh it might melt the ice quicker and dilute the drink
Why not use Philz beans? They dont even make espresso. They use a chilled or room temperature pour over.
Don't have a pour over filter but would def work as well!
Pretty cool & yummy!!
Appreciate it!
Thanks so much for this! Can I ask what camera you’re using when filming the wide angle/overhead shots?
Glad you liked it Sarah! Overhead shots are on the GoPro Hero 7 Black with a head mount.
@@AlexYem thank you!!
as someone who has worked at philz, this is not even close to how a mint mojito is made
Thanks for the heads up! What are some changes I should make?

@creamyretrievers im not hating, im just educating
@@zane-ym1ywto educate you need to give valuable feedback. what are some of the changes that can be made?
What espresso machine do you use? I really like how simple it is
It’s a Nespresso Citiz!

My question is why did you strain your coffee while u pouring it over ice? Don't need that
is white sugar ok?
White sugar is good but Brown Sugar built different. Go for Brown Sugar whenever you can. Trust.
@@dantelololo1 thanks man
I agree with Dante! White sugar will work but brown sugar is better. Has some caramel flavors/notes that white sugar doesn't have. Hope it works out!
Can you make their Chai Tea please
Never made it before but will give it a try!
Expresso
I can’t finish this video lol it bothers me too much

Getting kenji alt lopez vibes :) loved the vid, keep it up!
Appreciate the love! Yes, I bought the GoPro because of his videos haha
the camera is too shaking that makes me dizzy.
Sorry! Will be more stable next time
You should come work at Poke House

That's so cool! Thank you both for stopping by!
expresso -_-
Nothing else in the world looks like a UCI apartment parking lot
The sad truth. Glad I'm moving out haha
I thought Philz is all pour over
Yup it is. This was easier to replicate at home for me.
Can you hire the guy in your Valorant video to do taste reviews?
Yeh that Albert guy will be featured in the IV series
I meant the traviburger guy
eXXXXpresso... ughh....
sick video, could use some lil uzi
Never heard Uzi in a coffee video...might be on to something

Thanks for the feedback! Was testing out a new angle.
Why’s everyone saying eXXXXXXpresso
