You should keep your child rearfacing until at least 2 but longer is better. This car seat is a booster and not a convertible carseat so it only forward faces just fyi
How long does the car seat last before expired ? The information can be found on the bottom of the seat, or warranty card, or the bottom of the packaging box. All the sources indicate its 8 years. but mine is 6 year. I am also in Canada. Thanks in advance.
No. This is a forward facing only seat. You'll need something that also Rear faces, and should rear face as long as possible. Also, check your seat manual, if there is the 1" rule your current seat may also already be outgrown.

So this doesn't use tether or anything for high back booster?just sits on the seat?
Just wanted to clarify that the latch needs to be stowed within the seat if you're using the seatbelt installation!

Pro tip don’t check car seats unless it’s in its original box. Best tip is just use it on the airplane.

This might be a dumb question but my son is getting closer to 30 lbs and soon is outgrowing his Keyfit. Is there any way to install this rear facing ?
