Impossible to say since the FRQ topics are never publicized before students take the exam. Any of the 99 topics in the CED could appear on the FRQs, so it really pays to try and review everything. That being said, FRQ/MCQ questions about El Nino in the past have often focused on the increase in surface ocean temperature brought on by El Nino, the suppression of upwelling and decline in fishery productivity, and weather-related changes like droughts in SE Asia or increased precipitation along the west coast of the Americas.
