I absolutely adore Beegie Adair! Love the way she slows down the tempo starting at 2.35. This point would be a key "clutch moment" on the dance floor, where you look into each others eyes...and fall in love!
Right! This was Tommy Dorsey's theme song and Beegie does it credit. I'm betting as you listen to this fantastic jazz piano you're tapping your feet or fingers with the tempo. This is the coolest of cool jazz and it just doesn't get any better than this!
She is great no not iconically a jazz pianist but has more of a pop flair. Try listening to Bill Evans. I would recommend is albums with his trio or his albums when he plays alone - that is the title of one of them ALONE. There are some on RUclips and the best is a 15 minute version of Never Let Me Go.
