Hey super late to the party, but i gotta say YOU SAVED MY COSPLAY. Thanks again for the great tutorial and for people wondering, you can actually take this off pretty easily by unbuckling the middle belt and the chest belt. That way you can slide it off and back on like an armour without redoing everything!!

Thanks heaps for this video. The harness we bought didn't even come with the instructions in *_Chinese_* Already I've worked out ways to make it quicker and easier for my son to put on and take off once it's set up and adjusted.
I know this is rather late, but how do you take it off? Do you have to completely disassemble it, or do you leave it partially assembled? If so, how? Which strap (or straps) would you undo?

You know the skirt thing that some of them wear do you think it’s best to put it on afterwards or before since the strands that rap around the front might end up going over it which obviously isn’t how they wear it lol

No worries!! Mine were long too, I just snapped them with some regular scissors! Assemble the whole thing first and check exactly how much you need to cut before you do it tho! Thank you for watching my video 💕 Good luck!
Idk how you do this...I have a convent tomorrow and one 2 hours long attempt to put on this gear, which I did wrong, and I don't know what I'm gonna do.
One of the clasps on the strap that reaches from the thigh belt across the front and connects at the side of the torso popped off mine when I tried it all on a couple hours ago. Luckily I had some adhesive Velcro strips which I used to keep them together. No longer concerned if it looks off but I will probs try and reapply the clasp in a couple days. If you’re at a con and the strap breaks or comes off, I’d say your best bet is carrying emergency velcro for a quick fix. That, or take the clasps off and sew some velcro strips on ahead of time for ease of access because those tiny metal clasps are frustratingly fiddly. I am a lanky male with a torso very much not built to wear this size harness but thankfully I got it all on, as shown, with one minor alteration. I decided to use a similar brown leather belt I already had, worn through the belt loops of my white chinos, to hold the pentagon piece but attached the vertical hanging belt buckles to the included waist belt, which I wore across my midriff. I don’t know f it’s ideal for the authenticity of the look but it helped me out greatly and id probably suggest it to anyone with a long tors or extra puppy fat. Also, don’t buy chinos a size up from your waist measurement, especially if they’re made of a stretchy fabric, like I did. The gap between my waist and the trouser at the back is insane and I had to safety pin it by the button and hide it underneath my already-owned belt to keep it from showing underwear. Hopefully I can find a tailor that can alter the waist size to a more suitable 32-34”. Should any of the leather tear or become disfigured, Gorilla glue and a small piece of cardboard might be your best friend but don’t take my word on that. TL;DR, take heavy duty adhesive Velcro strips with you to wherever you’re wearing this monster of a harness and wear an extra belt around your waist with the pentagon piece if you have the torso of a colossal Titan. Hope this helps and good luck w your cosplay! 🤛✊⚔️
