Hey Jonas, Congrats again on yet another great review. Regarding the dampening efficacy of this new BASF material, would you say in your experience you found this racquet the most comfortable to use of all the racquets you've tested this year?
The Chairman Thanks! It is on par with Phantom 93P and some other Princes and the Donnay is even more arm-friendly, but this one offers the best balance between comfort and pop to me...
I know that BASF makes the boost material for Adidas. But Idk if it is the company they are referring too. But could be some new technology they invented.
@@Tennisnerd I respect your word very much on that, maybe I will give it a chance when it goes on sale! I think you can understand falling in love with an older model though. I tried a demo of the new 2021 model that had mediocre stringing with uneven Dunlop Silk, so it’s probably my own fault for not having it re-strung: “never judge a demo by the terrible strings in the racket” isn’t that a saying?
Great review! Looks like a good racquet. Curious how long you stuck out with a yonex vcore 95D for? how long did the honey moon last - why did you swap? I'm having my first experiments with lead tape at the moment. I used your website to check out Stan Wawrinka's specs (my fav player!) and leaded up my head prestige youtek IG to those specs (i've got two of these and i really like this frame - otherwise if i had the money maybe i'd get a vcore 95D) ...ended up around 376g, 360 sw, ~6pts headlight) and damn that thing packs a punch on the backhand.
String Snapper Don’t remember how long, I have owned that stick like three times. You definitely need lead tape with that one. In the end I felt it was a bit too powerful for me. Especially when you add Wawrinka amounts of lead! I like a control frame that I can string low... The IG Prestige is a great stick too...I used to play that at 370 grams, but got too heavy for long sessions...
Hi! Ive been watching your reviews about the dunlop cx rackets. Do you know whats the difference between cx 200 18x20 2021 model and this racket? Is it just the color and year? Thanks.
JorgeAndresCoppiano. Thanks! SW is around 325, but I lead it up to 335-ish. The Pro Staff is definitely stiffer and a bit less controlled from the string bed.
Yes, but briefly. That one is more flexible. It has a bit better feel (highly subjective of course) but is in more need of lead tape than the successor. The new version plays more stable without customization.
When you good as 5.0 player. You pretty much hit anything with any decent tour racket. I had collections of 20 plus rackets at home. I have stop buying anymore $200.00 plus racket. Just not worth it. Just hit the damn ball.
I love to do demo racket. Nice to have a job like yours. Have fun hitting the ball money in the pocket. You can also do some coaching too for next generation potential raising 🌟.
You have a nice swing I noticed though on your backhand.. you tend to lean back off the back foot you have a good fundamental swing try leaning forward a little like roger .. I bet it will improve it even more ... don’t get me wrong you have nice swing ... but your leaning back ...
Thanks Matt. Yes, that is my issue that I am constantly working on, especially on the backhand. Foward momentum is key so you really hit through the shot.
The knee is better! Working to strengthen my legs so I can prevent more issues in the future. Yeah, the 16x19 helps you a bit with the spin on your flatter shots...
hey @tennisnerd i recently purchased one of these from ebay. after stringing full bed volkl cyclone 16 poly, it weighed in over 342 grams! does it seem unusual to you for a dunlop racquet to be over 10g over spec? (TW has it listed at 332g strung). i've been using cylone 16 for years on other racquets, including 18x20's. and it's about 16-18 g.
Fernando Rodriguez That is a good one! These are quite close, the CX 200 Tour feels a bit faster. Might offer a bit more spin too than the Aerogel 200 18x20.
@tennisnerd which one you think come closer to Prestige IG MP and PT630 , the Srixon Dunlop CX 200 tour or the Wilson Ultra tour? Still playing with these legendary Head frames but im thinking to try something new
I got in on the TW playtest for the CV 200 Tour 16x19. It’s still in the mail, but I’ll have it later this week. I am looking forward to trying it out, as I thought the previous version of this frame needed some extra pop. Sounds like they addressed that with this update but I like the launch angle on 16x19 better anyway. Are you planning on playing any tournaments anytime soon? Would love to see some real matchplay footage from you.
Awesome! Let me know how it plays. I might play the local club championship in a month, but not everyone is happy to have a camera on them in tournament play. Next year, I will play a bit more internationally and then I will tape it for sure.
Hi i use a prince exo3 tour 100 team, i have 15 years i want a new racquet similar with thinner beam , decent launch angle but without ports and a little bit modern feeling but same power and more weigth than the Team gives me a sugestión?
I would check out the new Prince Phantom 100 or Phantom 100P. Great racquets, thin beam, no ports, good feel and a bit heavier than what you are used to...
@@adrianojese1337 I think you could check out Angell racquets. They offer 100 sq inch frames with a thinner beam and the feeling is comfortable, yet more powerful than the Prince and you can choose your own weight. Most 100 sq inch racquets have a thicker beam otherwise. The HEAD Graphene 360 Speed Pro/MP is a nice stick, but 23 mm beam.
cck3 The CX 200 Tour is a bit crisper-feeling, faster through the air and slightly better control. The Ultra Tour offers a bit more spin and a bigger sweet spot.

@@cck3527 The new Graphene 360 Pro is easier to use and offers more spin/power, but the stiffness bothered me a bit with a firm poly (Hyper-G). The control of the CX 200 Tour is amazing though and together with the comfort, I've made it my new stick of choice.

Have you heard any news in regard to Wilson bringing out a new line of Ultra Racquets? Yes, the Wilson Ultra Tour 95 CV Is coming out in 2019 and will be endorsed by Kei Nishikori. However, I am not sure he is actually going to use that racquet, since the Wilson nTour he is using under various paint jobs is already quite comfortable. But maybe he is going down in swing weight or something that can affect the wrist. More to come on Tennisnerd.net...
