2024 needs more Eddie! well.... all years need more eddie!
Even those years when you binge watch all of Eddie's material needs more Eddie!
Hi Izzard! Huge fan. Was in San Diego with my daughter being born in the Navy Hospital, you were on HBO in 1999. The first transperson I had ever seen. At any rate, you captivated me with stories and it was nice out in the summer of 1999. You are a great human being, I hope you know that. I am a conservative male and I love you Izzard, you make me feel happy and are a great human. We all love you!!!
I hope it gets recorded so us non-americanos can enjoy it as well :) NY is lucky to have you!
London, Riverside Studios, 23 May - 30 June.
I'm seeing it live in Chicago tonight at Shakespeare Theatre! Very excited!
Wicked, give her a big kiss from me
Love you Eddie!
Eddie, your talents astound me. Lucky New York
I want to see this SO much!
Awww I went to that theatre to see stomp. Wish I could see Eddie there too ❤
A definite must-see🎉🎉
you're so brilliant, hope this will be available to buy online post theatre?
Go, Suzy, go. Go, Suzy, go!🎉🎉
Eddie!!! I pray you come to San Francisco! You are a whole realm boo!
Cannot. Wait.
We love you! I saw you twice live in Berlin, zuerst auf deutsch und then in English. You are my hero! Also, when you play "angry" you really look lso much ike my mom!
Commenting to mark the day I discovered that Eddie Izzard exists!
Fun facts: According to critics, Judi Dench bombed in her first staring role as Ophelia at The Old Vic in the 1959 - 1960 Season. Dench then rose to acclaim as Zefferelli's Juliet, also at the Old Vic in the 1960 - 1961 Season. (My parents were part of the latter season/ production). So, Izzard your extremely positive reviews are what the young Judi Dench, playing Ophelia, would have hoped for!
Meanwhile, Ian McKellen was always extraordinary in Shakespeare before hitting the big time - according to critics, and my mother!
I wish I could go see that.
Come to Melbourne please 😊
Wow, Suzy/Eddie Izzard! You keep seeking those challenges and pushing yourself to the max! Hamlet for heavens' sake! Excellent idea, though, to combine your acting talents, and one person, different character voices, comedy show. I know you may not read this, but I wrote this just in case you do.
You chose the Shakespeare play with arguably the most characters to perform by yourself.
My respect for you continues to grow 🫡
I think if they ever decide to do a Kaye Ballard biopic, Eddie Izzard should be cast as Kaye.
You’re alive?! Fantastic!
cake please
What about the ones who can’t go to ny to c this? What r we supposed to do? Eddie?
Cake or death still makes me laugh!
London?
Nice Suzy.
Sadly; I'm in the Antipodes
Still going by Eddie. I remember she said she was afraid to change her name because she would lose recognition. All I have to say to that is...
.
EDITH! IT'S RIGHT FUCKING THERE!
She went with Suzy, but don't sweat it
WTF?
Over hammed
Shakespeare's plays were written to be acted to hog the stage, and command a large, unruly audience.
Also, making Elizabethan English intelligible to modern audiences, particularly in the U.S.A., requires specific articulation and emphasises.
Besides which, the themes of Hamlet, a tragedy, aren't exactly chill! The dramatics are fully warranted!
I don't know anything about Hamlet, sorry. I'm Mexican, far away from ancient English drama, maybe if it were a novela...
Creepy
I am sorry for your social problem. It must be severely limiting. Have you tried counselling for your phobia?
Eddie, funny as hell, and a good actor. But not a woman. Any problem wirh that?
Yes, you have made clear that you have a problem with that.
In 2024, writing comments broadcasting that you don't know the difference in terms between sex (anatomy) and gender (identity) is embarrassing for you. Do you have difficulty understanding the concepts? Or are you just willfully ignorant? Or an attention seeking troll?
If you genuinely want more information on a reality confirmed by the following academic fields of study:
neurology, psychology, psychiatry, archaeology, anthropology, sociology, endocrinology, gender studies, genetics etc
I can help. 😊
Your problem, not hers.
huh ?
This is a promo. Hamlet is a Shakespearean tragedy. Izzard appears to be performing Hamlet as a one actor version of the play, on stage in New York. This performance has received very favourable reviews. I hope that clarifies things for you. 😊
