- A Disneyland flyover is by far the most frequent request I’ve gotten. Thankfully I was able to make it happen. Los Angeles is usually a vibrant and congested city. Due to recent events, things are very different right now in Los Angeles. To see what LA looks like from the air I flew my helicopter on Sunday April 19th 2020 from 5PM - 6PM over the following areas but most especially Disneyland. This is an update to the video I posted flying over Los Angeles on March 20th 2020.
0:20 Irvine Lake
0:45 Toll Road 241
1:04 Irvine Regional Park
2:07 Orange Park Acres

So, are you impressed by Disneyland from above?
You amaze me more than ever!!
Yaaaaassss thanks so much. I have an annual pass and I've been so sad that I haven't been able to go. I'm an OC native, born and raised in Santa Ana! This has made my day! Thank you. My face ride is Space Mountain.👍🏻👌🏻❤👏🏻🙌🏻
Wasn't expecting it since you said it was restricted airspace haha. Nice!
Awesome stuff Micah!! This is Chris from Anthelion. Tom and I used to get in all the time. Just gotta ask haha
It's incredible seeing this, as we will likely never get to see it again when things go back to "normal"
Are there currently tunnels being dug up around the playboy mansion?
As a currently furloughed Disney Imagineer, thank you very much for flying over Disneyland!
Amy Whitman thank you for all you do for the parks! ♥️
Amy Whitman hi just saying I think it’s awesome that ur an imagineer I wanna be one too when I’m older lol although that’s rlly hard to do idk if it’ll happen but I’m gonna try my best lol but just saying ur awesome and ur doing an amazing job☺️
Hopefully some normality will return soon! I'm about to be furloughed from 3rd May as they are rotating the staff on duty at my airline job.
Hope to visit as soon as possible. Its been just over a year since my last LA trip.
@Steve Adams are you asking me or Amy? I've read on the news Disney are stopping paying some 10000 staff or something like that. Scary times.
As for myself, this months pay is normal...but next month's will be about 20% less as my company are using the UK government scheme.
woah! you have the coolest job! thank you for all you do!
The mad lad did it! He flew over Disneyland!!!
Nice and legal too!
@@MicahMuzio u said it wasn't legal yesterday
MFL it’s technically a no fly zone, so technically not legal. But I’m sure since the air traffic is so minimal they don’t care since it’s not as populated area currently
@@mfl8276 He explains the legal loophole he found in the video.
It could be the fact that Disneyland is closed.
It is so funny how Disney turns all of us into giggling children. I love that place. It truly is magical.
If you frown they remove you from the park so what else can you do?
I agree. And miss it to
@@bethanyaverie2174 😢😢😢😢😢
For a person who is fascinated with how the park is laid out and how they do such a great job to hide the backstage buildings and equipment so well from the guest this was an amazing video! I often stare at my aerial posters taking it all in but it was even more cooler to see a fly over of the park. Thanks for sharing!
I love this! Talk about soarin' over California. 🚁
hell yea its so so awesome i go all the time with my ap i feel like its been 10 yrs already when its really only been like a month
Hahaha!!! For real!!!
While people were looking for Disneyland, i was looking for the house where i lived in for 5 months, 8 years ago in Orange Park Acres! Very happy to say it was easy to spot and i almost cried haha :D Miss California SO much
I read that TWICE as white people were looking for Disney and I was very confused. Time to get better glasses :)
I was doing the same thing. I live in Corona but used to be a courier in Orange County and I was just looking at all the streets trying to identify landmarks and stuff. Looks a lot different from the air.
Bel Air, Beverly Hills and Holmby Hills would be interesting to me. Imagining all those rich people sheltered in place. Love the videos you have done.
me too
Bel Air is fun to drive around. And the hotel with the same name is discreetly tucked amid all the real estate. My daughter and I went for a charity dinner one night and saw a coyote on our way in.
"Sorry, I'm geeking out.", says the dude flying a helicopter. :-P
Douglas Dietrich 😁
Douglas Dietrich he is actually a Aliens from another world ..Even the President of the USA can't fly thru ..that Magical Dorm..
We're really enjoying your aerial tours of Southern California! We'd love to see your view of the coastline from Long Beach down south towards San Onofre! Some of our favorite destinations by land include Huntington and Newport Harbors, Newport Center, Crystal Cove, Laguna Beach!
Guess what I shot last Sunday. 😀
@@MicahMuzio YASSS
@@MicahMuzio When do we see it ?
@@terrysullivan1992 It's already up in his channel
When I'm gardening in HB I always wonder now in that heli in the sky is you!
I wouldn't mind seeing Shipley's nature center from above, then straight above that is Golden West College!
Then Maybe mile square garden.
Be cool to see all the local parks from above!
Thanks for the content.
Love it!
Fly over Disney’s California Adventure next time I’d love to see it
Rochelle Herbold yessss I want to see marvel land lol
7:23 "Both Dodger Stadium and Angel Stadium were seen with thousands of stationed rental cars, as companies are left with a surplus of unused vehicles and limited capacity to store them, stadium officials confirmed."
This episode was an "E" ticket ride! Great job!
Yep, I remember E tickets.
Yessssss!!! Lol....was talking to my parents about the tickets just 3 days ago! ☺️✌️
Would be really cool if you fly over the San Andreas Fault, especially in Gorman or the Carizo Plain.
Brilliant suggestion!
As someone who lives in europe I imagine it looks like t he grand canyon.
Tau Ceti it really doesn't.
As a Disney fanatic, a STAR WARS fanatic, an aerial photography fanatic, and a music fanatic, this video was off-the-charts for me. Loved every second. I also always marvel and geek out on the protocols of air traffic control. I hardly understand a word of it but something about the orderliness of the skies appeals to me on many levels. Super awesome video and a really nice music track you created too. Thanks for everything! 🧚🏻✨🚁
He flew over my house, my grandmas house, and 2 of my aunts houses all on the way to Disneyland. love it
I saw the apartment building a friend lives in. That was fun...
FIVE SUGGESTIONS:
UCLA Campus (and across town to the Rose Bowl)
USC Campus (and LA Coliseum)
SoFi Stadium
Port of Los Angeles (#1 Container port in US)
Port of Long Beach (#2 Container port in US)
I'd be interested in seeing how the campuses are locked down and how it'll differ from here in Toronto.
This is surreal. I need hours of frame by frame to comprehend this. Thank you so very much!
No joke, I included the super slow-mo with folks like you in mind. Enjoy!
We need to get you a nice 360 camera to hang underneath
@@MicahMuzio Its actually quite historic, thank you again!!! Amazing...
Nothing like seeing the house I grew up in when you went over Anaheim. One of my first memories as a kid is watching the Disneyland fireworks from our back yard. :D
Pools homes every where , Metro Los Angeles is fantastic
Orange County
patr70 There are five counties that make up the greater Los Angeles Metropolitan area:
L.A. being in the center, Ventura County to the West, San bernadino and Riverside counties to East, AND YES, Orange County to the immediate southeast.....so yes OC IS part of L.A.
I love LA.
It would be cool to fly over the J Paul Getty Museum and Griffith Park, especially the observatory.
we will be posting a lot of that over the next few days.
Yes!
Fantastic! wonderful pictures. I love your pictures, I was a Vietnam door gunner and your flight videos bring a tear to this old guys eyes. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you for your service sir. 🇺🇲
Epic! Best thing I’ve seen all week. Just SO cool. Thanks for sharing your adventure/flight with us!
Awesome flight... Loved seeing Irvine lake, park, Angel Stadium , Disneyland. Nice Job
I've fallen head over heels for these fligjts❣ That was totally worth it, and makes me want to visit Disney when it re-opens. What a cool look into ATC; how generous they were while in this quarantine. 💜

Space Mountain is by far my favorite ride in Disneyland. Guardians in DCA!
Very cool Disneyland flyover! Thank you. Seeing the Millennium Falcon from the air was awesome!!
Thanks for all of these Micah! Appreciate all that you do for us...video reviews, music, automotive reviews with your family, helicopter flyovers...
Wait until we all discover that these videos have been shot on the new Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Haha....it's so good.
The Tustin Hangars would be sweet from above!
THANK YOU. That was beautiful. The trees are in bloom in the hub!! So green and clean
Amazing. Thank you for such a great video. Not only just the Disneyland part but seeing Angel stadium and the surrounding areas 🙂
The new Rise of the Resistance ride is DOPE
Man that was so cool! Loved seeing Disneyland from above, that was so awesome. Also really enjoyed the flights over the parks and small lakes and open spaces and stuff. I keep telling my friends who have never been to L.A., that the L.A. area is like a giant playground of fun stuff to do and you could spend months there visiting fun places and still not do it all. Man I would love to ride my motorcycle on those empty freeways right now. Anyway, great video once again, looking forward to the next one! (maybe Avalon flyover at some point?)
My fav ride is the Haunted Mansion! Looks like there's scaffolding or some kind of tarp around the ride's facade...perhaps it's getting a fresh coat of paint
They were doing an extended refurbishment and started doing it after the Christmas layover was done for the year.
When I have dreams of Disney, I dream of the Mansion. The last time that I was there was 2000, the first time as a young Marine 1975. I"m living in OZ now. :)
That was awesome. Thank you. Your narratives are great! Thank you for being so much fun.
Dude your videos are so calming to watch. I love these fly overs. I hope other helicopter pilots take notice and do some in their cities.
James Allen I was thinking the same. Is has such a calm effect.
Enjoyed the ride, thanks. The slow motion helped a lot, too.
Oh, one other thing, love the slow-Mo replay. Maybe annotate some of the attractions would help the audience over the sites like Disney. Awesome work mate!
I live in Fountain Valley, and a couple of my old high school buddies worked at Disneyland back in the late 60s & early 70s. Really enjoyed seeing this!
Please a fly over of skid row! We appreciate you,
While having skid rows music in the background
Thank you Micah! It's always fun taking a flight with you!
Thanks so much for joining me!
Thank you again Micah for another wonderful flight and commentary.
Dude, your videos ROCK. Totally enthralled watching them. Thanks for the rides.
Thank you for the beautiful look at Disneyland park.
Look at all these rich people's houses with the tennis courts and lap sized swimming pools :)
?? Orange county is much more working class than LA. Relax
Try San Marino.
@@kylestrange4494 Doesn't mean that these people aren't making bank. Those homes are definitely not average by any means lol
California
Packed in like sardines
Awesome!
& Now it’s time to binge-watch all of your other fly-overs...
Oof I work at Disneyland and I miss it so much, seeing it from above definitely has made me nostalgic, it’s just sad seeing it empty as if it was abandoned. 😞
But I’m happy to be able to at least have a glimpse of it through video.
Thank you for this, Micah. ❤️

Where in the park do you work?
Nice flyover of Disneyland. The landing at the end was cool, too.
This was SO cool! Many of us were geeking out with you. I had no idea Haunted Mansion's show building was so big! Thanks for taking us on your adventures, it makes being stuck at home a lot more bearable.
It's amazing to see an aerial view of where I grew up while living in St. Paul MN. Great memories of my childhood
Thanks for this. I used to live on Western and Katella from '98 to '01, so to see all of the new apartment complexes by the stadium was unbelievable! I was in sales at the time, so any and all of the OC you can do is greatly appreciated...even on up into Fullerton. This is awesome...thanks again!
3 10's from the judges, perfect score!
You're a pretty cool guy. Thanks for these videos. It sure helps with the depressive nature of the quarantine.
Very cool slow mo! I really enjoy your videos. You are a very fortunate man to fly all over town. It’s great to see our beautiful Cali cities! Keep up the great work! 👌🏾🙌🏽👏🏽👏🏽
So SSSOOO Cool!!! As an APH for the better part of two decades, this is pretty special... Thanks for the aerial HD view!!!!
I've enjoyed your other fly overs during the pandemic. This was especially awesome! I agree the Millennium Falcon was AMAZING!
Please explain Millenium Falcon for many viewers who have been under house/work/ and directed to consumerism arrest for decades.
please fly over Malibu 👍👍, also question : about how miles can you fly on 1 full tank of gas & , how big is the tank ? thanks for awesome video 🍻
Hes got a video all about his chopper. Talked about two tanks, and about 3 hours flight time. Said after 2 hours, it's time to stretch.
Malibu would be amazing! Along the PCH 🔥
Answered on his helicopter tour video.
Most small helicopters can go about 350 nautical miles on one tank. We are posting lot's of Malibu footage on our channel, check it out if you get a chance.

What a nice flight wowed us! I just subscribed looking forward to watching your past vlog flights. Amazing scenery Sir. We loved it!
That was so awesome! Thanks for doing this! I love visiting Anaheim, love Disneyland and can’t wait to be back!
Dude that was bad ass. Love the slow motion. Thk u. Stay safe! From oregon
I’ve been waiting for this one. I saw my family’s business just before you passed over Disneyland.
Another awesome video! The super slo-mo recap was especially good. Thanks so much for doing these flights
This was so awesome to watch! Thank you so much for flying over our home away from home, the one and only Disneyland. The view was amazing. 😀👍🏽
You made my heart so happy💕
Thank you!! That totally made me tear up!!
Wow that was a lot cooler than I expected, thanks for doing this!
Ahhhhhhhhhhh! It is super crazy how small it looks from above! I got so excited to see this video. Can’t wait to go back to my home away from home
Love the landing view at the end.
Thanks for the updates from Tucson AZ
THANK YOU ! I was able to pinpoint each land and the major attractions. SO COOL.
That was really cool seeing Disneyland from the air, and you are right, it looks tiny. I haven't been there in 30 years. Thank you so much for doing this video. I don't have a request, except stay safe to do more. I'll watch your other videos to get an idea of what I'd like to see next. Thanks again!
8:48 moment y’all came for
Okay I have to admit seeing the Millennium Falcon was cool.
As for my favorite ride, hands down it’s Splash Mountain.
Least favorite is Small World.
Thank you for sharing the view from above.
Robert
Long Beach, Ca
I still cannot believe how much backlash it's a small world gets
thank you for showing!!! enjoy your flights!
Nice to see LA like this, I hope u will continue to upload these kind of content in future also.
Very cool! Space Mountain FTW! Hey, can you fly over the new Rams Stadium? Love to see how it’s coming along!
a new Ram's stadium, money from Cali residents for little to no reason, Big Sports are going away too
"What the hell is an aluminum falcon?" LOL Nice vid, relaxing. Ever flown along the LA river? If not, could that be a possibility?
BTW You're pretty awesome on those drums.
Bro, you literally flew over my entire life lol. I grew up in Anaheim, went to Loara, worked at Disneyland and now live in Orange off Collins. I recognized everything you flew over. Pretty cool.
Thanks!!
This was the highlight of my day. Thank you. Thank you SO MUCH!! 🎡😄
My favorite was the Nightmare Before Christmas decorated Haunted Mansion!
Are you able to put a 360 camera under your helicopter? I feel like that'd give it a really cool perspective.
I assume you also mean with the ability to upload the 360 video to RUclips so we can look all around while he is flying. Would love to see that also :D
Sounds like something GoPro could sponsor using the GoPro Max ;)
Cool video! Suggestion: - taking a view of all the oil tankers sitting out in the sea by the LA Port
Disney land was awesome. Thanks for the beautiful fly overs. I love the low fights over the beaches also. I live in Wisconsin. Not as many nice beaches here.
I LOVE THIS!
I miss Disneyland so much! Thanks for this. Can’t wait to show my GF tomorrow, who is a cast member at the park. Let me know if you’d like to get in sometime.
I'd like to get in some time. :D
Hey Micah, great time to show the dozens and dozens of oil tankers now collected off the OC/LA coast... Something that will never be seen again (hopefully)...and an eerie example of what's going on right now...
Thanks for the Disneyland flyover. Sad to see the park empty but looking forward to happier days ahead.
Can you do LA golf courses? LACC, Riveria, Bel Air CC, Brentwood etc
Emmett i like this request
yeah and see how much space that dumb sport wastes
@@nicholaswilks580 why so they build a bunch of high-end condos many folks can't afford.
Favorite ride in Disneyland is Indiana jones , Knotts berry farm Americas first and oldest theme park is very nice
That was so COOL! So strange to see No People!!! My fave rides: Storybook Canals, Haunted Mansion and of course Pirates!!! Thank you for flying over Disneyland - always wanted to see what it looked like from above!
Thanks for the fly over, I'm from the east coast. Never saw Disneyland before. Great video.
6:41 my favorite ride at Disneyland is Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean
Rise of the Resistance definitely followed by Space Mountain
Micah! Thank you so much for doing this! My daughter works at Disneyland and is furloughed right now so she was very happy to see her home away from home.
Thank you!! This is really cool seeing Disneyland from above. I hope to go back there one day. 😃😁✌🤘👍
12:38 my friend graduated from that high school :p (I think I saw their house from this video too)
Favorite ride at Disney: Pirates of the Caribbean! It's a guys' favorite! I'm from Detroit.
I lived within 15 miles of Disneyland my first 35 years. 7 years of that within walking distance. I'd get a yearly pass and sometimes I'd just go over for a couple hours before I went to work in the afternoon. Pirates is my favorite too. I was highly annoyed and displeased when they changed the ride for political correctness in the 90's.
When I lived in LA, I got an annual pass just so I could go have lunch often at the restaurant in the Pirates of the Caribbean :)
GREAT JOB!! Loved the view of Disneyland 😁 Thank!!
Thank you so much for doing this! We're annual passholders and we're really missing Disneyland right now. My favorite ride is definitely Space Mountain.
