Not really. Yeah, the ghost doing more is kinda cool & increased aggression makes sense since you're attempting an exorcism but it's also less scary in some ways since you can fight back

Yeah! If they can fix some of the bugs, polish the maps, and do a slight rework of the modeling, this game will be better than Phasmophobia. For years I wanted a horrifying Ghostbusters experience, and this game gives me hope.
i think the best way to "escape" the ghost is actually by running and also holding the door behind you shut so your stamina can recharge then you can run again

These are clearly separate games with different goals Phasmophobia is more focused on the horror, IMO, whereas this is allowing the player to complete the process & perform the exorcism. It's much more direct than Phasmophobia is & there's also less suspense since the ghost goes berserk pretty quick

I would assume that there are different ghosts, and different types of ghosts just like Phasmaphobia, i bet if they keep playing and go to different places we would get to see that there are scarier ghosts
Btw there’s a journal like in phasmophobia but it’s a lot more in depth with ghost characteristics and like occult energy reading and the signal type. With those clues it gives you the exorcism steps too
here's a horror game you might like Fooster it's called DON'T SCREAM you as the player need to spend 18 hours in the woods without screaming the moment you start moving that's when the clock starts counting down and if you scream at anytime before the 18 hours are up you have to start the game all over the game is based on the lost footage horror genre
Is it just me or does the ghost being able to leave the house actually make it less scary? Seeing it crawl out in the open like that just totally destroys the tension and makes it feel more like you're kiting a monster in an MMO or something.
For some its less scary For some its more, since due to phas, people are used to the outside meaning safety. Its honestly a great setup for an instance of terror.

Since no one escapes this island (sharks lol) no one on the outside knows exactly what's up with the place or it's horrible past and the trip ended with them all dead, except you. Your the survivor, but this time you came with experience, you've been training ever since you escaped. Your goal is to kill as many zombies as possible to get revenge for your fallen friends. Your passion for killing the undead leads you to new opportunities because there will always be people in need of a gun for hire. *Lean, muscular build with a focus on endurance and survival skills.

Nah, ghosts are way less scary.

Scary- demonologist
