    It’s so awesome seeing those magazines! The covers were amazing and you were pretty spot-on with your grading. Can’t wait to see the rest!

    I have the complete Warren publishing collection, but I wasn't picky about grades. I wish I had been little more strict.

    In my experience they treat fingerprints almost as bad as staining. Love the videos Ryan. 👍🍻

      Been hearing about more and more cgc fingerprints lately. Take angled picts before sending cuz that sucks….

    Great video really loved all the books, but for some reason I liked issue #2 something about the cover just spoked to me

    Those covers look nice. I now appreciate Archie books from the 60s to 70s the 20cent ones look really nice.

    Your graded copies of Vampirella 2 and 3 beat my graded copies of those issues (both 7.0). :) I love the Frazetta covers. I've recently been getting more into his art and actively searching for graded magazines with his cover art. I recently acquired a high-grade copy of Eerie 3 with the sea monster cover. I'm now targeting a graded copy of Eerie 7 with the sea witch cover.

    Regarding the Ken Kelly cover art on Vampirella 8... I'm so glad you mentioned his doing record album covers. I had no idea he did the cover for the KISS Destroyer album. I got that album from one of my friends for my 11th birthday, and I still have it. Awesome artwork!

      Yeah, I learned that recently when I got back issue 39 (also Ken Kelly). It’s such a great cover that I looked him up and learned about the KISS covers.

    Hi Ryan enjoyed the episode. Great Vampirella mags! Loved the Famous Monsters of filmland magazines as well, growling up as a kid. Still have most of them! Question: where is The Comic Presser located and why do you send to him rather them having your items pressed, cleaned and graded all thru CGC?

    • @AutomaticComics
      @AutomaticComics  10 месяцев назад +1

      He’s in North Carolina. I send to him instead of CGC because he does a much better job than CGC. CGC does one and done pressing, they don’t typically do any cleaning, I don’t recommend them.

      @@AutomaticComics thanks appreciate your input! Are they priced similar to CGC.
      I Enjoy your show and episodes! Keep up the good work. Where are you from? I live in Westchester NY

    Wow! I haven’t finished watching yet but had to comment on those issues 3 and 5. I’ve been waiting to see these. They were way better condition than what I had, and they look awesome. Congrats. Would love to get both those back into my collection.

    The first person that suggests prices paid will gain members. Ask yourself, why hide the prices that would help us beginners?

    • @AutomaticComics
      @AutomaticComics  9 месяцев назад

      Because I’m a dealer. This is also a business for me. I sell the comics I buy. Giving out my prices paid for comics I buy is bad business. Buyers will 100% use that against me when making offers.
      There are plenty of pricing services available that I talk about and show on the channel all the time that you can use to determine the values of comics.
      Some channels buy lots of collections and will say what they pay. But that is much more nebulous and applied across many books. I generally buy and sell individual comics, so revealing my costs is much more problematic to my sales.

    • @dirkaminimo4836
      @dirkaminimo4836 9 месяцев назад

      I’m sorry I think I misspoke. Would it be ok for people like you to mention current sales prices but not your own? I’m so new to this, have no clue as to pricing, so when i spend time I love hearing approx prices. other viewers do as well
      Sorry and I’m trying to learn. PCH prices are all over and when your uncle leaves you stuff one gets super interested in channels like yours to gauge. Suggestions of other channels ?
