I saw Roger Decoster, Marty Smyth, Bob Hurricane Hannah, race the 500cc in a professional race and could not believe the Awesome Talent of these guys. There is nothing like a good Moto cross race. My dad has a 1976 RM250A and tells us stories about going to races, meeting the racers, and the crazy times he had. Currently the bike is in pieces and I am trying to get it up and running.
Ha this girl is used to a 4 stroke I laughed so hard when she got on the two stroke and on one of her berms her bike was bogging like a four stoke with two cycle oil in the gas
+valamere101 :) so far it's been a blast. Glad I got it. I don't have a lot of money to buy dirt bikes every year. Plenty of room to grow and the power band is fun to say he least. Very manageable on the street and fun to whip that back end around on the dirt.
+valamere101 the way I've always seen it is you respect it. Understand the power and that serious injury is a high probability without the proper skill set to manipulate that power. I don't really crack the throttle wide open. Slowly working my way around the bike, learning as I go. I'm in no rush to use all the power. I use more and more the more comfortable and experienced I get. Awesome to hear you have family that rides aswell. The only one I have is my brother in law. My sister wants a quad. She's learning and prefers the comfort of 4 wheels. My real brother rides but sadly he's several thousand miles away. What area are you from? East coast?
You guys live in Canada, never knew inst it great with the free health care and all you know when you wipe out and brake your arm the governments got it

yep dude i 've been riding for about 3 years now and im on a 04 rm250 im 17 and my brothers on a 97 rm250 and hes 14.
buying a 450 for a 1st bike is a gamble but if your doing good now you did the right thing
