Thank you for including that shot of you going back to get your camera after turning off the lights and everything! I'm not saying these shots are bad, they're sometimes quite good for narration, but everytime I see them I think of how the person has to come back afterwards, and I found it hilarious to actually see you do it!

One time, when I had only recently started watching your channel, I walked passed someone in Waterstones in London and we caught eye contact and smiled at each other. I thought he looked like you and just decided you had a secret twin. I didn't know you worked in Waterstones.
Now, from this video, I know that's where you worked and I realise it must have been you all along.

This is why I love dans content. He's one of the you tubers where without fault I will watch every video. I have been subscribed to this channel since Dan had long hair and I cannot think of someone who deserves to be a full time youtuber more. He's an amazing bloke who always makes me smile. And I'd just like to say from someone it's gonna be alright

you know, you remind me of the old school youtube and youtubers i fell in love with years ago. there is a word in finnish that describes the way these videos make me feel but it doesn't translate in to english that well (the word is "kotoisa" and it translates to cosy) but basically, these videos kinda make me feel like i've been away for awhile and now i'm finally back home. i'm sorry this sounds corny as hell but i don't know a better way to put it in to words.

Your rant on DVD boxset inconsistencies is literally the reason I switched to digital. It stressed me the fuck out!!! I like dvds (and books) to be nice and uniform. Same HEIGHT if nothing else but the difference in width also screws with my head too...

I relate so much to the boxset dilemma. Desperate Housewives have shat all over my dvd collection.
I struggled with the different sizes of the Desperate Housewives boxsets so much that I nearly threw the first two series away (which would have been a grave mistake). Also book series where the titles/authors don't match up. FUCKING HOLD ME BACK
And good on ya for following your gut and quitting your job. Sometimes you need to light a fire under your ass and challenge yourself, so it's a grand thing. Good luck! (and you'll be fine)
We have three full bookcases of DVD's, I don't think you need to worry about being excessive

It's going to be ok :) I remember when I left my retail job to start being a freelancer. Utterly terrifying, but it's made me much happier and everything's mostly fine and I only spend *some* of my time freaking out about what I'm going to do with my life.

First of all congrats on getting this edited and uploaded so quickly! Secondly you've made a wonderful decision and its very inspiring to see someone who is making brave life changing decisions even though they may be a little afraid and unsure about their choices. Already I can see a massive improvement in your content and I have no doubt that you'll look back in a year or two and think of this decision as a huge turning point and the start of something new and incredibly exciting and I cannot wait to be here for that journey.

I have a similar one, and it's called an NSD Powerball. I believe the ball inside is weighted, and when it spins the weight shifts and it gets harder to hold on to it. Or maybe I'm horribly wrong.
