I used to keep sooo many briefs/underwear of all different sizes just in case my patients needed them. Then I saw another hospice nurse who just keeps 1-2 size large briefs in her trunk for emergency needs. She explained that even though it may not be their size, it would at least tide them over until their supplies came in or their next nursing visit where you could bring the correct size😊. Now I have sooooooo much more trunk space for personal usage, and the idea has worked well!!!

I’m about to start doing hospice nursing visits in 3 weeks. I’ve been a nurse less then a year in psych and I’m so nervous 😅

How does hospice pay work like if you only work one day you only get paid for that or is it salary? Like do you work at multiple companies etc?
The company I worked for I was on a salary!
The company I work for pays the nurses hourly :) so it all depends on the company.
