Oh boy I had a futon practically identical to this one, years ago. I was so excited to finally have a futon, as I loved the option of versatility, and spent a majority of time in my bedroom. But I didn't want to always lounge in my bed, and was eager to use my new futon in its couch mode. Ummm that futon was my arch enemy from day one. And I was single, so I never had to the option of a second pair of hands to assist the process. Bringing it to that couch position was an utter nightmare and the futon would often get stuck, catching on its own wooden sliding parts. I actually was pregnant with this bed too and having to manage it from couch to bed mode... I think I can recall it actually causing me to angry cry out of sheer frustration. Buyer beware lol
First of all I am sorry for all the issues, but I did laugh at the comments you made. Thanks for the story and maybe you have saved many from the agony and frustration. We do fanatasize and create expectations thaat never materialize way too often. I wish you much greater comfrot in all your next purchases.
Some are from IKEA. I dont think they sell them anymore. Its just four long bolts that go with four adapter thingies. Eight dowels for the base. And two more bolts with hinge pins with clips to attach the bottom with the back. I had to use this plus a second video to get my bearings and make it work. Thanks for the video!!
The two clicks are for sofa and lounge, I had this one when I was in Rochester NY, sadly it didn't last a year, when you see the video, when he's opening it the middle is so flimsy, that's why it's not worth the money if you want it for your living room....
Adam, mine seemed to be. But after several futile attempts standing up I sat down on the floor and BARELY lifted the frame as I pulled it toward me. Almost fainted when it worked!

I don’t even know because some days it’ll fold up with ease. At this point imma break it and just keep the mattress because honestly fuck a futon Get a bed y’all.

I have this exact futon that was taken all apart when I moved. I was hoping to see the screws that put it together and how to put it together.
