STEPS Engineering Your Future: Engineering Brothers

STEPS would like to introduce you to the three O’Connor brothers from Boherbue, Cork. All three of the brothers separately took part in STEPS Engineering Your Future during their Transition Year at school. This led them all to studying engineering in MTU Cork.
Alan is completing a Masters in Biomedical Engineering, David is in the final year of Civil Engineering and Anthony is completing his Mechanical engineering degree.
We recently met all three brothers and they told us about their experiences at the STEPS Engineering Your Future experience and how it helped to guide them to studying engineering. Two of the brothers Alan and Anthony also received scholarships from DePuy Syntheses and they speak about how they benefited from work experiences at third level and how they enjoyed participating in college life especially sport on campus. We will be sharing this video on our social media to inspire any budding engineers who might be interested in participating in STEPS Engineering Your Future next year.
