Sean I've been watching all your th400 videos you gave me the courage to build my own hot rod th475 I work at a core place and 400 are a dime a dozen so I found a good 8 bolt case then I hunted down the straight cut gears and then I bought the aluminum director drum with the good Sprague and the sonex hub and forward drum what's the stronger input shaft and raybestos clutches and a case saver and some other goodies just finished it today thank you for taking the time to show us
That hole, under the Hogan, would be a good pass through, for a 16an fitting welded to the valley tray, to use as your PCV. Then a 90 degree an fitting to your hose, to your breather tank. I've done dual 12an bungs under intakes, to breather tanks. Keeps the valve covers looking nicer and you don't get the oil vapor in them as you do on the valve covers, even if you put the bungs at the front of the valve covers.
I have been fooling with LS type engines a little, and I thought that an LS7 was a super charged 427 engine. An LS1 was a 5.7 engine and contrary to many beliefs, it was a 346 cubic inch engine not a 350. An LS3 I think is a 6.2 engine. All my engines have cathedral heads, so I believe that they are all Gen III
