Excellent 4k action cam with rear touch screen and front info screen. Exactly the same size as the GoPro3 but 10g heavier at 82g. Gyro image stabilisation works very well. Stunning video and still image quality. Built in tripod mount. 2K 30fps, 1080 60 fps, 720 120fps. My favourite action cam so far.

You could just inverse the movie capture and use the gopro stabilization mount so it doesn't play with the setting buttons on the side.

I've noticed static from my SJ6 legend in a "silent" places like a car or in my home. I took note when you filmed in your car the static was not present...did you run any audio correction? or did it sound okay? thanks for the video!
No audio correction but there is some hiss in some circumstances.

Instantly jealous of your planes and gliders ! I flew for years, and even was teaching my wife to fly. We got pregnant, and have not flown for a sad 8 years lol Love that push plane of yours, had one similar and loved it :)
For ultimate image quality GoPro are probably better but SJCAM is the best of the budget cams.
the fish eye effect is pretty normal with the sjcams
If you do get the SJ7 please explain to people that not all 4K cameras are real 4K but interpolated from 1080P etc.

Be careful with that "spare backdoor" for the underwater housing ! With other SJCAM models It is often not actually a spare backdoor that is waterproof, rather it is a vented door that you can use with the housing when you want to use the housing for protection but don't need waterproofing. They have started to put a warning sticker on the extra door, but didn't always !! With this model I'm wondering about using the touch screen while in the waterproof housing ? Is it possible ? Or is it intended that you adjust all the settings before putting it inside the housing ?

RAW image files are what the camera produces before enhancing and converting to JPG

good review! my sj6 legend stopped working after a few days of heavy use. Turns on but just sits on the loading screen. Hopefully gearbest can help me out.

I have a problem with delete screen button. End up it delete all my pictures n videos . Can we regain all the data?
As long as you don't format the SD card it may well be retrievable. But you will need the help of an "Undelete" program and an IT guru.
