EDIT: as the narrator says, the Big 3 were never on the all-star team together and that makes me mad. Yet, Draymond Green gets selections for no reason other than he was on the Warriors. Manu is and will always be a better player than he ever will be. Loved it when our Spurs were sent to the all-star games, especially when Timmy and David were there year after year. But one that bothered me was in 2018, Manu’s last season, he was the second highest vote getter for the west backcourt, and because of the new rules, he wasn’t selected. Then, the following year, they gave Dirk Nowitzki and Dwyane Wade honorary selections. Idk why, but I’m still bitter about that to this day.
Thank you for the shared info about Manu being the 2nd vote-getter in the backcourt for the 2018 West All-Stars and still not selected. Idk if it's by design or unintentional, but the NBA seems have the knack in tweaking rules so to give the Spurs disadvantage like in the seedings in 2015 Playoffs. Anyhow, Tim and Manu announced their retirement in the offseason after their final year. If the league and teams knew that prior, they'll definitely give honorary sendoff. It's just they hate attention.
You know manu Toni Tim and David even though they all didn't play together in the Oscar game at least they went I mean we can be proud of that this is what makes me proud to be a spurs fan and I hope we get to top 5 pick in the upcoming draft I still believe in pop
27 years (upon commenting), 5 Larry O'Brien trophies, 7 (or 8?) retired jerseys, and produced top tier players, coaches, and GMs sought after around the league later, it's a mystery why San Antonio not hosting All-Star festivities anew. Sure, they're a small market and still is. I guess the league doesn't appreciate the franchise's relevance (if not dominance) in that span and not giving such nod serves as "a reward".
“…and every year, you get to add somebody different.” No sir. Every year Tim Duncan gets to add somebody different lol. Not you. Timmy!!!!!!!!!! Go Spurs Go!!!
Those shots of Pop and Kobe got me right in the heart strings. It was their smiles 🥹🥹🥹that era of the NBA will hold its place forever in my heart

Belinelli won the three point contest as a Spur one year
It’s amazing to see how Robinson was so good his rookie year like that’s like a banchero and shack build as a rookie player. Just ow
