Hey, as much information that you have shared and the work you put into your load development that has saved me a lot of time, I feel like I owe you something 😀.
Thanks for the info. Just started reloading for the 410. I'm using lead shot now, but I did buy 10 pounds of steel #8 shot . Have both the wads for tss and the same clay buster wads as you. I'm also using brass hulls
Great job. I don't always follow what's in a book. I have a number of older reloading manuals and they were doing much stronger loads than most of the manuals being printed now. So there is a bunch of combinations that haven't been tried yet.
Love your TSS videos! Question for you. Have you used any of the Orbea brand 410 hulls sold by Astra Sports. With 410 hulls being pretty hard to find lately, I was excited to find them in stock. My understanding is they are made by Servios Y Aventuras. I've heard they can be loaded the same as Cheddite hulls. Any info would be appreciated.
I always enjoy your videos , will try to see if you did any testing with a 410 and Bismuth. I have two Pre 1982 Mecs, and yes I paid dearly for them but they work and that is what matters most in reloading. I tried a newer one plastic pieces popped off ( before I had discovered BP aftermarket products). Love to see some Bismuth testing. . PS WHAT ABOUT USING A MYLAR WRAP INSIDE THAT 410 RED WAD WOULD THAT HELP THINGS STAY A LITTLE TIGHTER. Thankyou.
I always wondered about steel ball bearing loads! I love steel over lead..... ONLY because steel don't deform as easy. Prefer to find .35" - .36".... .35" is equal to 9mm and 9.5mm is equal to about 3/8". Would a 3/8" or .36" or a 9.5mm steel ball work? That's like (5) 9mm bullets in a 3" .410 shell...... You are not using paper discs or sealing them shells. so I guess you will not be storing them for very long.
How much powder are you using in the 3 inch 5/8 duplex tss load in a 410? My husband is trying to figure out the load for our boy to shoot ducks and geese this season. Thanks!
I’d love to see a setup video. I reload .410 and 28 gauge. AA hulls have always crimped well for me but I have a hard time with cheddite and fiocchi hulls. I have two Mech 600 jr. presses. Also what are your thoughts on roll crimping? Love the videos. Just found your channel this afternoon and it has been very helpful.
Thanks for watching. The Euro hulls are a bit different than AA's especially in 28. I may do a setup video....Thanks for the idea. maybe cam and crimp depth setup or something like that.

Thanks for that brother. I enjoy helping folks out and getting these sub gauge guns back in popularity.

That’s a SOLID 30yard pattern.
I load a very similar load for back yard pest control. Steel 7’s do the job on backyard greys and rabbits. But ranges are close. Sub 20yds
I bet they do work on bushy tails and rabbits......of course in close. Thanks for watching.
Can you do a video on a 2.5" load as well? Slugs, lead, tss, steel. Seems 2.5" is all that's available to most loaders

I have not. Not yet. I think I may get some and see what they do. If availability is going to be there then we should utilize them if we can.

I have done bismuth testing in the 410. Go to my main video page and you should see it.

Can you do a 2.5” tss load in Winchester AA HS? That is about the only shells I can find anywhere. Congratulations on your Elk hunt!
Thank you sir. I'll be working on 2.5" TSS coming up. hopefully before season is over.
Which make of chokes did you use? Extended or flush? Thank you, great vid!
flush factory chokes

I'm very interested in trying this...
Do you have any 28ga. TSS/Steel loads that would work well for Sandhill Cranes / Large Geese.
Yes. 1oz TSS/Steel duplex. One of the earlier videos I did on here. Data is a bullet225ho.com
think if i was loading 410 i would say 7# steel would be ok dove and every thing else .5 oz tss under 5# bisumth
Were do you buy your pattern paper?
Hobby Lobby 48" white vinyl table cloth 100' rolls I think.
What powder?
You'll find the data at bullet225ho.com
I emailed you about your tzz/steel duplex loads about 2 months ago, but haven't heard anything back.
I just replied to a group of emails. Just getting back in the swing of things. If you didn't get a reply....shoot me another one. Sorry for the delay.
