While I can appreciate the creativity that went in to designing those sets I much prefer to see journals, planners or diaries that are "homemade" as everyone's will be different and sometimes I get inspiration for my own projects.
That is a perfectly reasonable preference!! I absolutely agree that extremely customized journals, planners etc have a “soul” about them that collections and prefab journals lack. That being said, I also love when people wear in these kinds of things and completely make them their own! Im excited to see how unique these become over the years of use and customization :)
When you told the description of the train cover, I immediately thought of Welcome to Night Vale too 🔮 That records cover, though... Sigh... I was relieved when it was sold out everywhere because I thought I'd saved some money, then I got kinda bitter every time I saw someone show off theirs on IG or YT because I was so jealous... Now I just found it *in stock* somewhere *by accident* and I'm in pain... I don't need it, I absolutely have better things to spend my limited money on, yet it's screaming at me to buy it... 😭 (I'm saying this in a "consumerism can be very hard to resist" kind of way.)
