I think microcentre is USA equivalent of Plaza Low yat. I have been to Best Buy near Rim Pass San Antonio Texas. Not really much choice but they have quite good models of Netgear and Ruckus Wireless devices.

Their products are genuine and you could negotiate price if you buy bundled PC items or in large quantities. Other than that pretty much fixed price.
