Thanks so much!! Yeah, despite this not being my first custom I am always nervous starting a project like this, but weathered items will always look great in the end no matter what ✨✌️😎✌️✨
If you wanna go all out, I'd recommend painting the dead leaf debris (I mean moss) on top brown. Yeah, hasbro really went for movie inaccuracy with that. And the other thing that could've _easily_ been included for so cheap is the rest of the floor. There's a rectangular piece protruding out from the doorway, like a big ass front door mat. Then you take a big step up onto the main door floor, which isn't much of a step with this piece.
Yep! I am curious if they didn't include the floor piece due to engineering or making this item fit in the box specs. Regardless I plan on making that simple addition once I tackle the final shelf display. Possibly add some moss/dead leaves to the bunker roof ✌️😎✌️
@@ToysAreTheWay Cool. Yeah it is so odd they didn't include that other floor piece, considering how little box space it would've taken up. Like even a piece of cardstock with a nice print on it would work. Wouldn't it be awesome if they came out with a new Ewok village. But with hasbro, it'd have to be crowdfunded, and cost more than the vintage one w/box.
Great work. You really manage to not only make your own displays and unique work but also enhance something that's already pretty good looking on it's own. All it needed was just that same amount of paint and it really makes it come to life a lot more. Looking forward to seeing more of your display work as they along with your customs are some of the best parts of your channel.
Thank you very much man! I really appreciate everyone's support for these tutorial and custom projects. These are my favorite types of videos to share, and of course I just love crafting projects like these. It's awesome to see how a little paint can really go a long way ✨👌😃✌️✨
Yes 100%!! I actually was filming that tutorial at the same time, but I still need to finish a few shots and then edit, but it will be published this coming week. 🎉🎉👽👽🎉🎉
@@ToysAreTheWay Superb. Excited for that. Looking back at the bike video again, I’m also curious about the Redwood background photo. Did you print it yourself? I have space in a bookcase that’s perfect for an Endor diorama using the recent products. I’d cooked up a basic idea very similar to yours. Sculpted trees, photo background, and weathering the bunker. Maybe a couple AT-ST legs too.
Thank you!! I am definitely planning on it, and really appreciate your support. These types of videos bring me a lot of joy to make, they take a lot of work but sharing these projects with all of you has always been my main passion. ✨✌️😎✌️✨
Love your tutorials, nicely paced and good coverage of what you're doing to achieve the results. Just a thought, have you considdered linking to a galery of the reference photo's you've used? I've not seen the black mold before and what wondering what it looked like on the set piece.
Thank you!!! I truly appreciate it. You know that’s a really good idea, especially for this particular video. I essentially did some Google image searching, and found a decent full frame color image of the set. ✌️😁 I wish I could upload images in the comments.
Very nice love the improvements🎉 where you get those nice ferns? I made some from palm 🌴 for model rail road. Love to get some that i could just plug in. Great video as always
Thank you! The latest TVC AT-ST is by far the best looking release, and so fart the legs have been the best as well. It's also $89 so it's the best price currently. ✨✌️ 😃✌️✨
Well done. You nailed it.

Thanks so much! Yeah, it really ended up looking great! They are palm trees from Amazon, for beverages or something i believe. This is the way ✨✨😃✨✨
Is it worth paying 100 or over for an as-st figure and also which one is the best also great video 👍🏻👍🏻

The price hasbro is charging lately you shouldnt have to do this
For sure, I think a little bit of added scuff markings would have been nice, but I also don't want Hasbro to up charge for paint apps 😎✌️
