    Great video! Great views!
    This video has just made me to make up my mind about my next trip to DPRK; it will be by train, from Oporto to Paris, Warsaw, Moscow, Vladivostok, Pyongyang.
    On my way back, I will follow this itinerary in reverse.
    -Very nice!

    while entering the Tianjing Main Station there we could see some German-Style Trains... the 'ICE' Type Express Liners. Quite interesting.

  • @lmwzwwj
    @lmwzwwj 12 лет назад +3

    Actually the train in the video is considered mediocre with less than 80MPH/hour. CRH bullet train is actually of the fastest (150 MPH/hour) in the world

    From Beijing - Dandong then get off the train then get on the train from Dandong- Pyongyang will be more economic than Beijing - Pyongyang.
    And start the tour from Dandong- Pyongyang will be more economic than start tour with the train from Beijing - Pyongang.

      Nurul J For us it took totally about 10 hours from Dandong to Pyongyang.
      Example of schedule:
      Departure from Dandong: 09:35
      Sinuiju: 10:45-14:15 (for us border clearance took about 4 hours at North Korean side)
      Arrival in Pyongyang: 19:30

    @l33g0 Ok, i thought that he was giving food to people living around here... It's first time I see that, a guy who throw out the carbage from a train. Anyway, thank you for showing your trip!

  • @berndpfe
    @berndpfe 12 лет назад +2

    OMFG. These trains still seem not to have any sort of safety doorlock. Can be opened while in full travel. Quite dangerous for people with and for children...

  • @MegaZsolti

    I wonder when was the last time a train in NK hit 100 kph safely?

  • @berliner965
    @berliner965 12 лет назад +2

    I don't think that's a big issue in countries where parents look after their kids properly and children have more sense than to open doors on moving trains. Other countries have things which us in the West would consider dangerous but to them it's not even something they think about. They don't need to be bubble wrapped and protected from themselves.

      At that point they were in North Korea. Maybe he is dropping food for villagers?

    • @willpugh-calotte2199
      @willpugh-calotte2199 6 лет назад +1

      @steveo5556 - You could have a point. He might be tossing out something of significance. Surely there'd be somewhere on the train to put rubbish. With the first bundle, he seems to be checking momentarily what's out there, takes care to throw the bundle clear of the train, and looks back, possibly to see that it landed safely. He then appears to be hurling the second bundle away from the train as well. If he were just littering, why would he bother making any more effort than just dropping the rubbish out the door?

    • @l33g0
      @l33g0  11 лет назад +4

      Yes, it's possible. We arranged our trip through a travel agent in Europe. Please note that North Korea can only be visited by an organised and guided tour.

    • @WINGERSTEIN9000
      @WINGERSTEIN9000 11 лет назад +2

      l33g0 this may sound like a dumb question, but when I get off the train/plane do I just look for my guide and go with them, or do I have to book for one??

      Noah Ward You have to book your tour and local guide beforehand. There are tour operators and travel agencies available online. We booked through a small travel agent in Europe.

    North Korea is so beautiful, its natural, India used to be like this sometime before not anymore, in the name of development all the farming fields are taken by the Corporate and all the Water channels have become polluted.
    North Korea, you are better of how you are, don't compare yourself with shitty Countries from West. You are beautiful and natural.
    God bless North Korea, people and your leader Kim sir.
