The first one, I'm pretty sure is a standard hit-cancel (which happens during a hit trade. In this case, one's a standard hit, the other is a launcher. The Tetsujin with the launcher gets their recovery frame animation cancelled, and can do whatever right after it, which is why it works). The second one, I have no fucking idea lmao

The best bit is when the mishima 1, 1,2 fucked up causing the hit confirm to fail leading to a proper block punish and combo, nice touch of actual match problems between all the Matrix stuff
This makes me appreciate how pretty Tekken 7 looks now - so much more flair and drama on hit. At the same time though, how can this load player moves so quick and seamlessly per round? Seems to take have gone backwards in Tekken 7 as it takes an age now!

You can also knock him out if you throw the ball in a specific way, that being going to the far left and aim to the left as much as possible. If you do it right, the announcer will say "K.O." and the flavor text in the blue window will say "Don't try this at home" or something similar

Never knew moku jin and tetsu jin had those kinds of sound effects for blocking and fighting.
Hold the down button on the d-pad while the match is loading to hear special sound effects whenever Tetsujin/Mokujin gets hit or blocks an attack.
